I met Fury he seemed alright tbh a lot of what you see is the media persona for the camera's. End of the day how many of you on here have gone Mcdermott the fatty morelike mcdoughnut but wouldnt dare say it on camera Fury just has the balls to say it on camera but doesnt keep up the act away from the media.

Froch im not sure on him seems like a fairly decent bloke from what i seen of him at the Dirrell presser chatted with people signed stuff etc he isnt full of himself i dont think just has a bit fo a wooden personality but i dont think he has a bad attitude

Morales. He's one of my hero's in the ring, but I heard he's a real jerk to fans. If this was confirmed in person, it would ruin watching his fights for me.

Naseem Hamed and Mayweather are supposedly completely different away from cameras. Not sure whether it's true but then why put on an act for a camera?

Dan what's that story about Bernard Hopkins? Involving some young lad who had cancer? Can't quite remember but a nice touch from him

There was a young lad in the states who had cancer and it was terminal. He was a big boxing fan and Hopkins spent ages and ages with him all the time. He wouldn't live to be able to drive and that was one of his dreams so BHop took him out in his Bentley or summat and the lad crashed it. Said BHop laughed it off and told him not to worry.

I think the lad died just before the Pavlike fight (or another fight). Think the lad was meant to attend it. Before the casket was closed I think I remember hearing BHop put his fight worn gloves, shorts and robe in there with the kid and buried them with him

Another one to act a twat is Tarver but he comes over well on Showtime and people who have met him say the same.

On a similar theme Chavez is meant to be an absolute tosser despite his "man of the people" stance.

Can't stand Mayweather (a couple of lads on here have met him to mixed reaction) and Whitaker is meant to be a total twat from what I've read.

Ya I remember reading that. He paid for him to come to see the Calzaghe fight. And yer man was supposed to have seen B-Hops comeback win against Pavlik just before he died. I think thats what it was anyway.

I remember reading an article on Hopkins from 2002 where it says that only he and Joe Frazier, of people who boxed, had gone to see Gerald McClellan.
