Golota loses- Morrison for all his faults applies pressure, has good speed and hits hard. this fight is about who is less reliable and that my friends is andrew
Golota, the Good Golota the one who lost (beat) Bowe twice knocks Tommy out inside of 5 rounds, no way Morrison beats this Golota he was nasty!!
Golota had better skills, but I still think Morrison punches too hard and Golota falls apart. I cant think of any fight Golota made it through against a guy who could punch. He imploded as soon as he got hit hard.
I cant see why Morrison is ahead in this poll. Golota was a much better figter. Despite his mental weakness i dont think that would have come into play here, Morrisons style would be made for a prime Golota and hed destroy him.
Morrison's more organised offense takes him to a decision or late ko over Golota. Unless Andrew gets too frustrated and hits Tommy in the testicles, and gets disqualified.
Look at Golotas record anarci. Hes never beaten anyone who could punch except maybe an old Tim Withersoon. Hes always failed against punching threats. From Grant, Brewster, to Lewis, Bowe and Tyson, hes always fallen apart. I believe he was a better boxer than Grant and Brewster as well, he just cant handle any type of adversity. Morrison would take the fight to him, and Golota would most likely crumble.
I'll go with Golata because his skills and physicality were on a higher level, but he could definitely fall apart early.
I know this is one of my usual wishy washy answers, but I think it really depends on how each man shows up... We saw several different versions of both of these men during their careers.. Golata was dangerous, until he got into trouble, then his mental resolve caved in on him... Morrison's chin failed him on numerous occasions, but he did manage to rise off the canvas to win a few fights and even engaged in some wars.. Golata might have had slightly better skills, but Morrison had more speed, and perhaps a bit more snap to his shots... Frankly, I think the 1993 version of Mirrison who opted to box Foreman, rather than trade with him, may be the best pick here.
