Arum Hit With Huge Qatar Offer For Mayweather-Pacquiao

Arum said he got an offer from Qatar that's "way bigger" than the guaranteed $25 million offered by Jerry Jones last December to host the Pacquiao-Floyd fight.

The fight will still be held in the US (not in Qatar).

 

There is another promoter in this fight, not just Arum, Mayweather

 

And there's GBP and MP Promotions...

 

It is mayweather, he is calling all the shots, there just yes men for him.

 

Yah not understanding this one so much. So they (qatar) want to put up the money for the pac/pmf fight in vegas far in excess of the 25million jery jones offere for the dallas stadium.

They dont want ppv money, they are only interested in the gate? Makes no sense to me

Floyd is more concern with his guaranteed take home money. He might have a little say about the venue if it's not in his hometown Vegas.

 

No they still want it in the states..at a casino where they can bring in asian gamblers, they want the gate and likely some kind of gambling cut/deal with casinos. But being paid by Abu Dhabi, its all just unusual. Arum said it was way bigger than the 25 mil offered by jones, lets guess 40 million right there.
