i expect this has been covered many times before, my no 1 is herol graham, followed by tony sibson, henry cooper,a forgotten one is ashley crawford, he beat carl thompson and lost a close decision for a world title as well. have i overlooked anybody? im sure i have.

Jamie Moore. Really good fighter. Probably didnt get a world title because he went back to knock Macklin out (which he didnt have to do). It really annoys me when guys like Gavin Ree's end up winning world titles against nobodys and real world class fighters like Moore miss out.

yeh bad dog i have to agree there moore seemed to be left at euro level with no opertunity to move forward, he took fights that would be hardto get motivated for,

He wasn't world class. He was in the best form of his career coming into that fight and he lost.

I disagree. He slipped in form so much before Rhodes.

    Ashley Crawford eh ;)

Crawford Ashley was a solid fighter and fun to boot, but he was very much of a level, and that level was good domestic/European, he never really showed the potential to get to true world class IMO.

I like Moore but i agree that he was probably slightly overrated because of the tremendous battles he put on. I dont think he would have been out of his depth if he got a title shot but is probably just that tiny bit below world level. Great fighter though absolutely love him.

Herol Graham stands out for me.
Jamie Moore should have at least had a shot and if he'd have been with Warren he'd have deffo won one IMO

Moore was badly managed, plus he was always at the top of the ''who needs him'' list.

As for being world class..... he probably falls short, but there are doubtless champions in recent years at 154 that he could have beaten.

Herol Graham is the obvious candidate, he'd easily be the best middle in the world now, arguably beat a prime McCallum, two wafer thin decisions against Kalambay.... then there's the highlight reel KO from Jackson.

Would have been nice to see him get the shot that he probably deserved though!

Think he was being lined up against Martinez at one point.
