    From on the ropes:

Money is low for HW title fight
If you won you must fight the other Brother
The Klitscko would be allowed a tune up, he would not
If he wins both fights he get 20% of the purse in a re-match with the original brother

I believe Byrd made a career high payday for the second Wlad fight. 3 mil I believe. When he was with King he had an agreement for 1 mil minimum purse which King did not even honor.:rofl:patsch

Yeah, the Klitschko's don't pay anything.

    Then why didn't Haye? :D
But seriously these are really on the edge, even for easy opponents like Byrd.
On the other hand does it show they aren't scared to fight anyone, even if he already beat them both. And it's exactly what Haye wanted... Or in reality, what he said he wanted... Knock out Wlad, then Vitali and then gets the chance to KO Wlad again. :p

So he goes on record admitting to being a clueless pos?

Why would he fight Wladimir twice if that's the case?

I believe Vitali was retired for 2 years by the time of the Byrd/Wlad IBF Championship fight so I'm not sure that would be in the contract...kind of weird. Being the Champ, Byrd would probably be the one with the rematch clause? I don't think any challenger has that kind of leverage. Just doesn't make sense and hard to take serious.

Has anyone else seen that big list of boxing paydays that gets posted here from time to time? Chris Byrd was getting something like 3-400,000 dollars for his routine defences against the likes of Mcline and Golota. I seem to remember him supposedly getting 3.5 million euros which could be over 5 million dollars depending on the exchange rate for his IBF title defence against Wladimir Klitschko. Some history revision seems to be going on here.

LOL, sounds like a contract written by the Russian Jewish Mob.
That two brothers holding belts but won't fight each other is a great scam!!!
These girls can never be considered ATG material, since neither has ever faced and defeated any ATG. They should be lucky they haven't and just take the money they've made and be satisfied.

Byrd was prob talking the first fight, he did have to fight Wlad after he beat Vitali, was it contracted.

In the rematch Byrd held all the cards, so he could pimp his belt out
