Timothy Bradley vs Luis Carlos Abegu

    Amir Khan vs Joel Cassamayor

    Devon Alexander vs Andriy Ketolnik

With Maidana's Injury and Khan not willing to fight either Bradley or Alexander, I can understand both Bradley and Alexander's decision to fight different fighters.

Personally, I would much rather see Bradley and Alexander TOTALLY CLEAN-OUT any and every fighter in the 140lbs division. It seems that we (Writers, Critics and Forum Posters) have but declared Bradley and Alexander as the TOP TWO fighters in the division...Well Lets see if they are indeed the TOP 2. Alexander fights Kotelnik, Ortiz and Khan - Bradley fights Maidana, JMM, Mabuza. If they win...Imagine the Hype and Build-up!!!

Two things I would like to add for the record:

    1) No-one finds it kind of odd or even peculiar that EVERYONE is Screaming for Bradley and Alexander to fight...Because everyone believes these are the 2 best at 140lbs. Yet Juanma, Gamboa, John and Caballero have been dancing around each other for the past 18 months and Vasquez and Marquez have only been fighting each other since 2007 while fighting in and around one of the Hottest set of divisions in Boxing 122lbs-126lbs...THERE IS WHERE EVERYONE SHOULD BE DIRECTING THEIR OUTRAGE!!!!

    2) ESPN's Dan Rafeal, Showtime's Al Bernstein and Antonio Tarver, HBO's Jim Lampley (in a great interview in GQ Magazine), Freddie Roach and Alexander's Manager/Trainer Kevin Cunningham has ALL acknowledge that Amir Khan is the fighter that holds ALL the Marbles as far as revenue and dollar value is concern. No-one finds it rather disturbing that this Sport that we all love gives so much monetary power to fighters who haven't done ****??? So Khan can pick and chooses who he fights and veto a potential fight because it doesn't bring enough money or if the fighter doesn't have enough "name recognition"...He has that kind of Power just because he has beaten Salida, Kotelnik, MAB and "Pillow-Paws" Malignaggi...REALLY? While guys like Bradley and Alexander get thrown to the wolves or try to fight everyone and their Momma, but Khan can pick n' Choose. Just one of the few things I hate about Boxing.

Jesus Alexander beat Bradley's leftovers, Juan Urango and is now fighting Khan's leftovers. You make it sound like hes some kind of star already?
Khan has an olympic silver medal and in Barrera and Malignaggi, like it or not, has beaten two name fighters.

Give it a few years before you start with all this Khan is ducking nonsense.

Why dont you want to see the two top fighters at 140 fighting each other?is that cause they both african american?

Cause from what i've seen from your black panther bull**** threads you never have african american fighters fighting each other.

    rayhogan-

Alexander's wins over Witter and Urango were impressive, but no reason to define him as superior to Khan.

My point about Khans wins over both MAB and Malignaggi wasn't about them as fighters, but i was showing that Khan has two "name" fighters on his resume. This helps to explain why he is seen as more of a cash cow then Alexander/Bradley.

Finally, Khan did not say his fight with Maidana had to occur within the timeframe MM is set to be injured for, and he also called out the winner of any potential meeting between Alexander/Bradley. So in what way is he ducking them? He has only been at the top of the division for a year.

Bradley is going up in weight against a puncher so it would make you think its him but Bradley though a shaky chin recovers well and has that extra level when he gets in trouble. So i think he will be fine.

Alexander is a safe pick over Kotelnik. I see no problem here.

Khan-Casamayor could actually be pretty dangerous. We saw Casamayor derail Katsidis but thats obviously different levels. Khans chin and face look suspect. He was damaged from Malignaggis punches and KOd by Prescott. Casamayor has a pretty good punch and decent speed himself. Could Khan take a well placed punch from Casamayor and not go down??
If so then he dominates and beats Casamayor. If not then he is probably getting KOd again. I honestly only give Casamayor a punchers chance.
Khans speed should be his undoing.

Laughable that you think all three should fight each other right now and pretty ****ing niave if you think Khan is the only one doing the ducking (that is if there is any ducking at all, i believe they're waiting for the fights too become more lucerative) :good
