Good shout. He came up against a very good fighter in Chi and deservedly got a draw. That fight took a lot out of him though and he was destroyed in the rematch and by Scott Harrison.

Gary Crawford was his real name. Don't know where he got his ring name from. Between the Hill & Klemesten losses he was in great form :thumbsup.

Michael Watson. Against Benn and Eubank (II) he was unbelievable, absolutely tip-top notch.

When he handled ex-world #1 and dangerous rangey southpaw switch-hitter Don Lee, so easily, as a 22-year-old novice taking the fight on short notice - beating him up - I had him pencilled in as a future great.

Lots of worthy candidates mentioned, to which i'd like to add Dean Francis's name. Definitely would've won world honours if not for his shoulder problems imo.

Another great one is the English Flyweight Arty Henderson. Had a record of 526-8-5(1) and was a magician in the ring. Iron chinned as well, beat Heavyweights whilst weighing in as a Fly!!!

As far as I know Elky Clarke never won a world Title yet in the 30s was rated in Fleishers top 10 of All time Flyweights.

More padding than Calzaghe though, but still good.
