    You can just as easily make the reverse argument. Even if Pacquiao was on PEDs, he could easily lay off them for a few months for such a payday if the money was his primary goal. Besides that, he has tons of money now, so his need for it is not likely as great. And besides that, he's now agreed to Floyd's 14 day cutoff(which is a long testing period than the Mayweather-Mosley testing had with no stipulations, they stopped testing 19 days out). Ball's in Floyd's court, but amusingly he appears to want a bigger cut now.

    Those stories were fudged up.

    He never stole ciggies.

    He went and had honest work as a construction worker, baker's apprentice, a sewer (machine) and sold flowers outside of the church every Sunday morning.

    Not sure if the dog eating story is true. But his father left his mom when he was a kid, and was brought up by a single parent.

    He left the family in the province, in his mid teens, to look for work in the big city.

    You don't have to see "every single thread", because there are SO MANY threads based on this topic and your "logic" is brought up in every gaddamn one of them, Spud. If you have slightly dug around in the threads in the past several months, you would have seen it, although I assume you have and are just stirring ****. But, I don't know for sure, so, I think we will leave it at that. :cool:

    The story that he's a god in the Philippines is also not true.

    He's more like your home football team's most popular striker, who scored the most goals in the world cup and won your country the title.

    You treat the guy like the biggest celebrity athlete in your place, and have a lot of respect for his game and accomplishment, he will forever be a living legend. but you dont kiss the ground he walks on.

    Yep, otherwise he would be already president of the Philipines and stopped boxing... The thing is he receives more acknowledgement for his accomplishments in the ring than as a public speaker :yep
