Was just on boxrec and noticed they have vladimir klitshcko as number 3 on the pond for pound list. are they having a laugh? is it just me or does he not deserve to be up that high?

maybe the pound for pound list for predictable and boring

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:tired

sorry fell asleep whilst thinking of a klitschko fight :tired

No one who knows the sport or boxrec takes their p4p ratings seriously. It's not a thought out list, it's just a number crunching, no context, points system list for everything. I wish people would stop doing threads about how crazy their ratings are. It's not like a panel of people are voting on it. It means nothing. The site is a great reference but that's as far as it goes.

The P4P list isn't about the most exiting boxer, otherwise Floyd wouldn't never had the top spot either but the relative ability and strength no matter the height and weight of the boxer.
I fell asleep too watching Ali in some bouts, but that doesn't mean he wasn't great!

The rankings are computerized and don't take in mind the way a fight is being fought... Martinez for example dropped far in the ladder after losing to PW even though it was a close fight...

I would have Wlad top three P4P at the current time.

People regularly exclude him from their top ten, which is ludicrous.

Boxrec's top ten is actually one of the less laughable out there.

Wlad at three compared to Donnaire at four?

Wlad is definitely top 5 and could easily be placed at 3 or 4.
Who is above him? Chad Dawson? Based on what? Beating Tarver and Johnson 2 times each?
The only two more deserving fighters are Pacquiao and Mayweather. The only reason everyone doesn't have Wlad at 3 is because of some myth that HW's can't be in the P4P rankings.

The fact that the Ring has actual people deciding theirs is mind boggling with **** like Donaire at four.

If he fight and beats Darchinyan again... then I would consider it fair
