i agree hatton would win. But i dont think its coz of Khans lack of power. Khan doesnt have great power but its good enough to stop someone walking through them. Also khans speed could trouble hatton? Although eventually i think once hatton catches up with him the pressure would be too much
Hatton by KO or Kahn by KO. But we're talking about a young Kahn. Once Kahn matures, it will only go the way of a Kahn KO. Hatton was a good but never great fighter. Kahn can be great.
There are plenty of chinny greats. Kahn will probably stumble against high pressure fighters, but against the rest, he should triumph. My one thing with Kahn is that his camp will continue to cherry pick fights and avoid the fights we all want to see, like Kahn vs Alexander. I think Kahn has potential, but I'm not buying it to the fullest, unless he fights the right fights for boxing and not the right fights for him.
An interesting match up because Khan has the far superior skills but Ricky the superior 'heart'. I personally think style wise Khan has the advantage as he'd be happy to stay on the outside for 12 rounds and pick Ricky of as he steam boated his way in with no defence and he'd of won by a decision or late knockout.
why would you even start a thread of this ilk, the answer is obvious, khan is still too green and wouldn't keep hatton off. why not ask who would win 23 year old khan or 23 year old hatton.
Not a chance, at 23 years old, Hatton was still very crude, and massively one dimensional, Khan at the same stage is way ahead of him, kinda like the WBA is way ahead of the WBU lol.
Nor had he been a genuine World title holder who'd defended it twice, beaten 2 world level/class fighters, or a banafide legend. Nor was he ranked in the top 3 of his division, or fought away from manchester.
