I think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised when they see how well Cotto is able to carry the weight tomorrow. Unless the opportunity for a Mayweather or Pacquiao fight presents itself, my best guess is that he'll never move back down to 47.

Cotto was averaging 155 (?) on fight nights at Welter Weight. No doubt he should be confortable at that weight. Cotto's got a big frame, which allows him to carry more weight than one of his height would allow him to normally carry. And we're still talking about JMMs. At 5 foot 7, 154 pounds of full muscle is never a lot.

It is when you're already slow. This fight is going just like the Santos fight. Cotto will be frustrated and fatigued with all the movement.
