For those of you saying no....

    A. What is your "criteria" for "getting inducted"?
    B. Where and why does Cotto fall short?

The only way Cottoe gets into the hall of fame is by buying a ticket for general admission like the rest of the public. This thread is laugable to say the least.

:happyExactly. It's called the hall of FAME not the hall of ALL TIME GREATS. Some people act like it's damn near impossible for Cotto to get in when it isn't.

Sugar is a ****ing moron. The only reason we know who he is because the mainstream media outlets only do 30 seconds of research before finding a "expert" for the half assed boxing piece they are working on and call up old Bert. It' s typical he would **** on modern fighters as its been his MO for about 30 years now. He just got the memo last week that Suger Ray Leonard is a hall of famer.

All that being said he is spot on when it comes to Cotto. His fans, myself included, got way ahead of themselves with Cotto. I love Malinaggi, and he will probably be the second or third best victory on Cotto's resume when all is said or done. I thought he lost a close fight when he faced Mosley. Not hall of fame material unless your buddies are doing the voting.

Mosley, Judah, Quintana and if Cotto gets past Foreman well enough, Foreman (taken within context, p4p foreman might not be better then Malignaggi, but hes a much more dangerous fight in reality given the circumstances (malignaggis size and weightclass, to foremans).

I think its debatable between Torres and Malignaggi who is better.

I could easily see it this way

    1 - Mosley
    2 - Quintana
    3 - Judah
    4 - Torres
    5 - Clottey
    6 - Malignaggi

If Cotto gets past foreman he goes right above malignaggi imo

So i think its a big stretch to call Malignaggi Cottos second best win, or even third,

    Just imo.

Judah was coming off back to back losses. He was life and death with Clottey, who might be better than Paulie. Torres has one quality win on his resume. I'm not sure about Quintana. He has looked like a bad boy a couple times and a case could be made that was his second best win. Any way you look at it beating this list of opponents is impressive but Cotto has never been the linear champion at any weight he has campaigned.

I wouldn't call a fighter who's been a champ in 2 divisions someone who sucks, I'd call a guy hating on him someone who sucks:tong

Cotto definitely doesnt suck and he deserves respect. He has fought bravely when he has been in tough.
