Total shut out for Solomon. I think he could turn the heat up a little more if he wanted, but he's got it in the bag.
No. Dirrell ran against Stevens. Johnson ran (and shelled up) against Klitschko. Solomon is landing WAY too many clean punches for you to accuse him of running, sorry.
Solomon is putting on a clinic, but some of the things he's doing what work against a better fighter.. and he's not young at 27.. but with a good trainer he might work him self into a fringe contender.
He's the worst. And that part that makes it even worst is that these are the only things he says. He cant just call a fight he has to say these "creative" things. Just called the ****in fight. Please god HBO dont hire this ****.
Round 10 Solomon rushes in, leans to the side and tees off on Galarza, who isn't ad******g and shortening up his shots. Solomon getting away with some really cheeky stuff. His hands are almost exclusively held low now. He is wading in, blasting the head of Galarza, and slipping attempted counters almost playfully. 100-89 Brad Solomon should be on three official judges' scorecards, but let's see...
I know I turned in 20mins late, in what was it the 4th or 5th round.. but ****.. Galarza didn't seem to even really try to win this fight... hate when that happens.. because Solomon fought a good fight.. but it's more fun to watch when both guys are giving it.
Solomon has some serious potential. Gotta calm down a bit with the wild leaping in as he steps up in class, but he sure whipped this guys ass. Needs to work on accuracy some too.
