I would one time like to see someone named Billie "Buttercup'' Jones or Timmy "The Tulip" Thompson. ...Or Skippy "Fancypants" Morrison.
Yeah, I do seem bitter tonight.... Sorry. Doesn't change the fact the guy has no power and he slaps a lot with his right hand.
He doesn't fight anything like Bradley. He fights more like Dirrell or like Haye fought against Valuev but against an obviously smaller man.
tru, sorry man, but you did admit you weren't paying close attention. Solomon was evasive but he wasn't negative. He stood in the pocket and made Galarza miss and threw lengthy combinations at close quarters many a time, in almost every round.
Round 1 Johnson comes out STRONG. Ramos is pelted with a dozen power punches in the opening ten seconds. Ramos clamshells and keeps his balance, but not without stumbling the length of the Tecate mat. Johnson settles down and begins to annoy Ramos with a nonstop right jab. Ramos throws a lunging right to the ear, it only glances and Johnson immediately begins pushing him back with short crisp shots. Nice uppercut from Johnson after setting up Ramos with a double jab. 10-9 yudel johnson
Round 2 Ramos walks into a hard jab. Johnson keeps firing more right behind it. Ramos begins to circle cautiously. Johnson is now getting picked off as Ramos times the jab with his back hand. Ramos tries his own jab but it isn't anywhere near fast enough to land on the very tense and alert Johnson. Ramos stumbles after taking a combination on the gloves, then turns his momentum into a short little hop as he spanks the flank of Johnson. Ramos beginning to work a little bit of offense as he turns Johnson. A right hand gets through. One at a time is working for Ramos, as Johnson is not keeping his feet squared with Ramos' quickly enough, shuffling just a half step behind. Lead left lands on Ramos' chest. Johnson fires a shot under the elbows and it strays low, he gets warned. Closer round, but Johnson nicked it. 20-18
I agree, actually. This ump's "strikezone" is a bit off. They looked like they landed in the breadbasket.
