Ramos seems really committed to not getting KTFO.

Maybe not committed to winning, but certainly to not getting KTFO.

When he gets in trouble he backpedals like Fred Flintstone putting the family car in reverse to escape an Allosaur. When he braves the inside he keeps his forearms glued to his face.

Where is all that fantastic hand speed I was hearing about with Jhonson?

    Ramos balance is poor.

    Round 3

Ramos throws wide punches that end up snaking behind Johnson as he zips in and out moving his hands. Chopping overhand shots from Ramos land on the shoulder, and Johnson continues to fire straight down the middle - and land a good deal.

    30-27 Johnson

I agree, but Jhonson just seems to be lacking something that screams this "elite"... he's not a great finisher either.

Jhonson seems to have to load up to throw, and he drops his off hand when throwing. Maybe its the lack of fear in this fight but it is a flaw.

    Round 4

Jhonson not forcing the issue. He's letting Ramos hang around, just picking at him. He does start carpet bombing when Ramos walks himself into a corner, but Jhonson unable or unwilling to close the show. Maybe he's trying to get rounds in, which wouldn't be too far-fetched for someone so shallow in their pro career. Ramos certainly doesn't appear a threat to have a late surge and go for a knockout on a second wind. More potshotting from Jhonson ensures him the victory in the fourth frame. More power punches, turned over a little bit more, and placed a bit better could have had this over in the fourth. :conf

    40-36 Jhonson

After the first thirty seconds, this is not what I thought it would turn out to be...

That's is what I am thinking. Be interesting to see if he has a different gear when he faces tougher tests. It may be missing something. Of course, he could be a guy that fights better, the better the opposition.

Jhonson could KO this guy anytime he wants if he'd be willing to step on the gas.

Jhonson's footwork is nothing to write home about. Flat footed, throws off his back foot to much.

    Round 5

Jhonson doing a lot of waiting, a lot of posturing. Ramos seems to be out of options. He flicks a jab, tries a lead right, but there's very little steam on any of it. He seems to be trying to keep Jhonson at bay more than anything. Jhonson manages to win another round on low output and lukewarm aggression.

The fat ginger states that when asked about Cotto-Foreman, Yudel Jhonson replied that he feels he is on the same level as both.

Have you said one nice thing in this entire thread?? You sound like a bitter gym teacher.
