Manny's gonna take it, and look what Floyd did. He ran away like a scared chicken.

Well, the fact that he only wants one last fight and if Floyd really doesn't want this, Pac has no other choice out there but Cotto.

I don't want to see Pac fight Marga because there's no point to it. Pac can fight Cotto at Jr. middleweight and depends on how Cotto will perform tonight. I'm sure people won't mind seeing pac fight cotto again at a higher weight class even though Pac already beat the **** out of him before.

Your brickbats on Pac are underserved. You should exclude him from your frustration. He tried to accommodate Floyd until the latter ran away. He does not deserve your blame. If Pac fights Margarito, Foreman or Cotto, it is not his fault but scared Floyd's.

In your last post you claimed if Pacquiao couldn't fight Mayweather he would say **** it and retire, now you're admitting that he would fight Margarito or Cotto instead.

Lets be honest, if Pacquiao wanted Mayweather that badly then he would have just taken the 14 day tests offered last time and got the fight made then.

I didn't bother watching the vid but I think this is probably just Floyd being an ******* as usual and trying to wind people up. Don't fall for it. I think he wants the fight too but he's gonna be playing a lot of mind games to try and get every advantage he can get.

That's already water under the bridge. The moment is now. Is Floyd want to fight or not? Pac has already accepted the 14th day.

But was the 14 day still on offer for him to accept?

    I only respnded to this.

Let's just say Pac really just wanted to fight Floyd but Floyd folds again, who else is out there? He wants to retire with a bang and Clottey isn't exactly a last fight to remember.

Why are you still dwelling to what he did and did not do before? He already agreed at something Floyd wanted and there really shouldn't be any reason for the fight not to happen.

Unless of course you really don't want this fight to happen.

So you want to see this fight happen or not? Easy yes or no.

I'm pretty sure Floyd said something similar in the post fight interview or press conference after Mosley if I remember rightly. Since then they have been holding negotiations for a possible Mayweather Pacquiao bout. I'm not going to believe a word he says...and hope for a big announcement soon.

He agreed to something that was on offer 5 months ago with no inclination that it is still on offer, I'm sure Winky would accept a 55/45 split with Floyd now that he rejected 5 years ago but that's unlikely to still be on the table too.

It really is as simple as that and it has nothing to do with me wanting the fight to happen or not.

If he does fight against either Cotto or Margarito then that contradicts the point you made about him retiring if he couldn't fight Floyd because, you've accepted that you were wrong so there's no need to keep going over that point.

Btw if the Floyd fight does fall through then I'd like to see him fight Martinez instead of Cotto at 154.

It doesn't really contradict to anything I mentioned in the first place. Like what I said, I only responded to your post. You are putting words in my mouth and now you're telling me I'm contradicting myself.

You say here if Floyd doesn't want the fight Pac will say **** it and retire.

You then say he wants to go out with a bang even if he doesn't fight Mayweather and say that his only option is Cotto.

I have every right to slam Pac. Margarito? Ridiculous. As if that's going to do anything for Pac's legacy - fighting someone who is not only athletically inept but gave the sport of Boxing a black eye. On top of that Margo is the same damn height as Yuri yet Pac didn't want any of Yuri due to "height disparity." Makes no sense to me. Don't treat Pac like he's some sort of reputable leader who is all balls. He has done his share of ducking in recent times. There is plenty of respectable competition outside of Margarito and Cotto such as: Bradley, PWill, JMM, Angulo. Hell, I'll settle for Berto, Mosley or even Khan. Even if Cotto beats Yuri nobody wants to see Pac-Cotto 2 because Cotto doesn't have the style to beat him. It'd be like a bully picking on a smaller kid and I have no respect for that. Pac's last fight should be respectable, competitive, and unpredictable.

its unlikely that he will retire, thisd is a marketing ploy....so that u assholes woprk up a sweat and keep talking about him

like odlh said he will disect u outside of the ring its mind games aswel marketing. if this was the case he would have made an official statement

there are still 3 fights left on his statement

and something is telling me him and oscar will fight in both of their farewell fights when may manages to wrestle the middleweight crown off martinez
