The only reason can be that the ring announcer couldn't pronounce his first name properly...it was without doubt one of the worst decisions I have ever seen and i'm gutted for the lad. He actually showed a lot of class getting back in the ring for the announcement after initially heading off to the changing room, i'd have kept on walking

I didn't see it..... would it be like Jeff Lacy getting the nod over Calzaghe?

Not far off...Dwyer had Watson on his arse in the last and the ref didn't take it into account on his scorecard...and then rapidly made an excuse...commentator went ballistic

    A complete joke.

We bang on about places like Italy and Germany being bad for the away fighter to get decisions, but in my opinion it's worse here.

It would be the last place I'd come to fight for a title, I'd insist on a neutral referee and judges.

Steady on! Our refs are ****, but other than a few notable exceptions I don't think there have been too many foreign fighters who can claim to have been robbed.

I agree with Beeston...we're as corrupt as the rest of them.

    Embarrassing at times.

This country is'nt, and never has been, anywhere near as dodgy for home decisions as Italy, Germany and Spain.

Like Jim Watt said, it was a close fight that should have went to Dwyer due to the knockdown in the last round. I had him 3 points up.

The Carribean must be jam packed full of retired British boxing referees sitting in their sprawling villas that were paid for from the proceeds of fixing 6x3s undercard fights...;)

We've got some way to go if we're going to eclipse Germany in the dodgy officiating stakes.

The brahmer and Brewster ones are insane, how the ref let Brahmer fight on with all the sense beat out of him i don't know.

    Brewsters one is just terrible, 9 ............. .................. and a half................. 9 and 3/4

The Germans on the European forum didn't think there was anything wrong with the refereeing in the Braehmer fight.
By my count Braehmer got 33 seconds to recover after that break, having taken a pounding during that barrage. Ridiculous.
