I don't really mind Floyd's fight selling antics and I surely appreciate his talents in the ring but one thing that bugs the hell out of me is him changing his nickname from "Pretty Boy" to "Money". Pretty Boy Floyd has class.......aptly named after a famous bank robber because Floyd has certainly robbed the bank in terms of gross income. Boxers, once established should keep the name they made famous......MONEY is just plain ignorant in my opinion. Maybe he would be better off with Floyd "the gentleman of boxing" Patterson as his role model. Can you think of worse nickname changes? Pretty Boy Floyd is good as it relates to the old time gangster. Money is maybe not as good but it's okay. I've heard a lot worse.

Money is more of a modern rap nickname, ala Ray Cash, 50 cent, Dollar(who was shot in a mall parking lot if I remember correctly), etc. It is part of the transformation from being clean cut nice guy, much like Sugar Shane Mosley is, to trash talking gangster.
