    Folks,

I'm not just talking about the actual fights that normally occur outta Europe, but also the pre-fight hype and overall commentary....... Europe is SO BLAND in that sense....... Plus, I hate that giant bright white ring they love to use........

An American PPV telecast based outta Las Vegas or New York with either HBO or Showtime handling the event, kicks major ass over anything Europe has come up with..... IMO!!

    Any thoughts?

Who else either likes the giant bright white ring in Europe or who else hates it too???

I must admit, I am tired of the typical "Budweiser" rings in the USA..... That has grown stale........

White ring mainly used in Germany and they don't really have PPVs so not sure what fights you would be talking about?

I thought Don King and Mexico did some fine work in the 1990s with the likes of J.C. Chavez headlining the cards along with co-stars Azumah Nelson, Terry Norris and Ricardo Lopez......... Them were some good shows.........

**** you, dick-cheese............. Your are based outta England.... Who here in the States knows what England gets or receives.?.?

As of the last few goddamn yrs, "Klits, Valuev, Haye & Maske" have all been available on PPV here in the USA for a somewhat reduced rate......... Them are all facts............ Go check............

NOW! The question still stands: "Why are the European PPV's so bland on the whole?"

I don't need useless info added from outside the USA if you were able to view some of these fights without the aid of PPV............ Jesus......

So you are talking about American PPVs rather than 'European PPVs' as stated in your OP.

What the **** has it got to do with Europe how some low budget US outfit presents a fight that happens to be in Germany?

So what you actually mean is 'low budget US PPVs are bland compared to high budget HBO PPVs'. Well duh.

PPV's outta Europe that have stunk:

    "Maske-Hill"
    "Valuev-Holy"
    "Haye-Valuev"
    "Klit-Chambs" (Internet)

These fights were pretty boring or considered letdowns........ All of which cost the American viewer a few dollars...........

I also paid 25 USA dollars to see V.K. hammer Al Sosnowski..........

Not exactly Cobbler........... Christ, to this day, I have NOT seen a European PPV card that was intense all the way through........... Europe puts on some of the worst undercards that I have ever seen........

If you paid $25 to watch Klit - Sosnowski then you are a bit of a spastic. Learn your lesson and just watch them on the computer or something.

While V.K. was dominant, I didn't feel cheated about paying 25 bucks to see Klit KO Sosnowski........ I thought it was one of the better European PPV main events........ WORD!
    :bbb
    MR.BILL

    Plus,

Many of the illegal live computer streams freeze-up or scramble here and there during a PPV card...... I hate that ****.....

Look, I like Europe and Britain getting involved in Big Boxing, but I would like to see the quality from them area's get a huge leap of faith in the future of boxing......... As of now, nothing can compare to the quality of a huge fight based outta Las Vegas or New York with either HBO or Showtime behind the promotion, etc......
