Cunningham-Ross and Sylvester-Karmazin RBR

    Round 1

    Ross begins to circle around on the outside. Cunningham spins with him, and neither takes the initiative. They feel out with some jabs and the dance continues. Ross chops a tomahawk jab at Cunningham's head and runs past him to avoid counters. Cunningham keeps his own jab popping out straight and snappy. Cunningham feints a 1-2, and Ross misses a 1-2 of his own. Jab to the body from Cunningham. Ross circles to his left and swings wide at Cunningham with both hands. Cunningham grabs him until the ref breaks them up. Ross with another sweeping overhand shot that Cunningham weaves away from. They grab each other and infight to the bell.

    Slow round, could heat up.

    Ross still keeping his distance to start the 2nd. Cunningham using his reach to find Ross as he turns corners, and Ross tries to smother his arms resulting in frequent clinches. Ross still dialing left, Cunningham still controlling the space between with his long stiff jab. Ross misses a jab, Cunningham misses a counter uppercut. They are throwing from quite far away, especially since Ross has his lead foot spread very far apart from his rear (and his lead is a full body length away from Cunningham). It's a very wide stance that could land him in trouble if he doesn't close it up as they come together.

    Not a whole lot to split, but Cunningham's jab still telling the tale. 20-18

    Should have pulled the trigger on betting on USS. I know it's early but I figured he'd win anyway.

    Ross ventures in to the center of the ring to meet Cunningham, then backs slowly out. They trade jabs, and Ross begins to swing with wild scimitar shots. Cunningham keeps his straight jab working, high and low. Ross trying to ugly it up, grabbing and making it very physical. Cunningham doesn't mind the rough stuff, wrestling right back and neither imposing themselves.

    Another 10-9 USS round. That makes it 30-27

    Round two showed Steve still stalking but Ross coming alive a bit more, close round with some heated exchanges and hold your breath moments for fans of eather fighters as they are throwing hard, but not a lot seemingly landing.... USS's jab is dictating the pace and space, boxing very well. Ross is sharp as well though in trying to counter, very fast, very much playing the backpeddling snake ready to counterstrike if you will.

    round 2 - close but i give it to uss because of his jab


    Round 3 - Ross coming forward in spurts for the first time in the fight.... more fast exchanges nothing big landing though, stalking by USS.... he needs to keep with the jab it is what is making the difference in this fight. cant believe round 3 is already over. Ross has been off balance a few times in round 2 and 3, not sure really if its because hes just off balance after punching or if cunninghams punches are doing that.
    Round 3 i give again to cunningham


    so far for me and in my opinion its 3-0 for cunningham for good jabbing and dictating the fight, coming forward with a set plan and pace.

    Cunningham wouldn't win this without his height advantage, Ross would be able to jab with him had he not suffered such a vast reach disadvantage.
