Two HBO darlings, undefeated fighters, both campaigning at 147 lbs right now.

If Floyd can't fight Pac next for whatever reason, why not make this fight?

Berto's nowhere near the kind of draw that would drive any promoter to put him in the ring with a superstar like Maweather. I'd say by the time he is (if he ever will be) both Floyd and Pac will be retired.

Plus a young, strong, unbeaten welterweight champion younger than 30? Not Floyd's thing really.

He sure would. That's what makes Floyd so dissapointing to me; he has all the tools to defeat all the top names in the welterweight division (Pacquiao included) retiring undefeated.

I can easily see him decisioning the likes of Williams, Pac, Berto, Margarito etc but for some reason the guy just seems much too reluctant to step in the ring recently.

Bertoe is #2 in the WW division, but he's still too raw and inexperienced to take on a fighter like Money. Money would batter him while inflicting a horrific beating.

Some times i see similarities between floyd and berto held the green belt at 47 simialr height berto is quick rolls his shoulder nice right lead reminds me of a more aggressive floyd but floyd's ability is leagues ahead

    floyd would beat him easily

I do like berto but Floyd would outclass him. I would prefer to see him and Manny go at it though. Probably a closer fight as both has a punchers chance

Because Floyd would dominate every second of every round for the entire fight.
