    I don't by his statement one bit, this guy loves money, and if it's a chess move it might be the smartest one thous far. Casual fans watched Mosley v Floyd for two reason, (1) because Mosley jumped in the ring demanding a fight and they wanted to see him back it up, (2) because a win is one step closer to a showdown with Pac. By Floyd saying he'd retiring takes 1 reason for casual fans, who by the way run payper view cause us so called real fans look for streams, to not watch. With NO potential fight option between Mayweather and Pac you best believe Magarito v Pac sounds less appealing to casual fans.

    Let's look at it from this point of view, we can agrue that Clottey and Magarito hold the same value to casual fans. When it's tme to promote the fight they will ask " Magarito, who is he", but since we're in the age of the Internet they will google him, and all they will read about is this guy cheating, and I don't know about other countries but Americans hate cheaters, and will not tune in. Now that's 2 potential reasons to snub Pacs fight v Magarito. The second one being it's not leading up to any great event.

    If I'm not mistaken Pac v Clottey did around 700,000, with little promotion, all the hype was based on the new stadium. I can't see Magarito v Pac doing More than 500,000 buys. Both don't speak English well, and one is a cheater.

    To be honest Bob " the devil" Arum is not helping Pacs case, why would u put a none cheater in a fight against a guy a small population believes could be cheating? Surely the topic of handwraps and peds will come up. How does this help Pacs image?

    Long story short, I feel Mayweather is saying **** you pay me, take blood test or suffer PPV Buys. Floyd can fight right after Pac and do numbers again using the out of retirement claim to attract stupid casual fans lol. To be honest I hope I'm right.

    If I'm wrong as a strong Mayweather fan I would have to say this will be the biggest duck since the episode of " saved by the bell" when screech locked himself in the lockers to avoid an ass kicking from a bully lol.

    * Excuse any errors Iphone

    like the Pac-Floyd fight, I won't believe any of it until it actually happens. Personally I don't believe it, surely Floyd must know that majority of fans will see it as the ultimate duck.

    The move is that of a *****... Clearly the only man standing is Manny, that is the fight the people are demanding Floyd knows this, but he doesnt know if he can really beat Manny, I am sure in his mind he believes he can... But I am also sure he also has some doubt.

    This is the stupidest move by Floyd if he somehow viewed it as a negotiating strategy. Arum can now pull out of the negotiations and claim that Floyd didn't really want to make the fight despite Pac's acquiescence to the 14-day testing window. The boxing world, and even the more rational of Floyd's fans, will crucify him for failing to make the fight, since he went on record as saying that he would rather rest for 1-2 years than fight Pac. His legacy will be tarnished and he will forever be known for ducking the Fighter of the Decade, while Arum makes more money off Pac by pitting him against Margs, Cotto and Foreman.

    He better hope that Arum doesn't pull off that move, otherwise he is going to be in a real firestorm of criticisms from everyone.
