Greene starting to lower his guard and box a bit rather than press forward behind a high guard. Change of styles.

    Round 5

Martirosyan landing jabs and rights, and bouncing lightly on his toes. Greene shifting his weight from left to right and shuffling toward Martirosyan firing wide telegraphed lead lefts and backhanding the jab, more to parry Martirosyan's than anything. Greene begins to land some flush jabs as Martirosyan's hands stray low. Greene misses a superman left hand and falls across the ring as Martirosyan dodges. Martirosyan tries to punch inside a fat combination from Greene and winds up eating a left.

    Best Greene round so far.

The 5th was Greene's best round by far.

    Nice jab.

Yep. Winky is 100% responsible for his situation. He's routinely made idiotic decisions regarding his career, like not taking the rematch with Taylor. Quite simply, he doesn't deserve a big fight right now.

Marty is working, but honestly he didnt land **** that rd. lots of off side and glancing blows. greene landed some easily scored clean blows. Seems to me MJG isnt gettting his respect so far from the commentators or lederman

It's a shame. One of my favorite fighters. Should have been MW champ. He should have taken Taylor. Would have been easy a second time around. Cause Taylor was garbage.

    Round 6

Greene looking much looser now, and begins to jab at the swollen eye of Martirosyan. Greene now pivoting and keeping Martirosyan on his toes with direction changes. Martirosyan begins to chase Greene down with the 1-2. Greene trying to catch shots with his rear left while tucking his chin. Greene throws a slow lead left to the body and misses. Another upstairs misses as well. A right from Martirosyan jerks Greene's head and pushes him into the ropes. Martirosyan misses a shovel uppercut as he dances to his right. They clinch and both go down just from each other's weight.

    10-9 Martirosyan

    59-55 VM
