    Exactly. Here's what I heard:

Mercante- Who threw that towel in? Come on guys who threw it in?

    Trainer-I did it.

    Mercant- Alright.

Now maybe I'm a little TOO DRUNK and he said "I didn't" but hey, that's what Tivo and fake apologies are for

ref wanted an excuse to stop it, tbh that body shot would have probably done it anyway

I've just watched a replay clearly shows Yuri's trainer throwing the towel after consulting with some dude in a suit... There is no controversy there...the towel was definitely from Yuri's corner.

    Gallant effort.

Miguel Cotto- I SAW his trainer throw in the towel.

Now I guess the question is...is Cotto's spanglish mispronounciating it? Probably.

I dont know how far Cotto will go now. But he dominated Yuri even before the injury. Cotto did a great job tonight!!

well good for cotto, yuri put up a good fight, big heart, but i'm still a little worried about cotto

he can beat up some people for sure, but i can see him having trouble with another elite level guy

the important point there is that Mercante didn't know who threw it since it was unclear up to the end who threw it, so I guess he did the right thing.

I am just going by what Buffer announced to the crowd.

Nonetheless. These things happen. Injuries are a part of the game. Cotto was probably going to win anyway.

I think the TKO is because he can't stand up anymore due to his injured knee.

I missed Cotto's interviews. Always refers to 'The Company' like it's some covert all encompassing evil organisation.
