I don't know if Cotto wins but I'd give him a great shot. He'd pound the crap out of P-Will's body, and also hit him in the face easier than he hit Foreman.

His chances just got greater.... I counted him out... He's a contender at 154.... No bull****..

Cotto just beat Foreman. FOREMAN. Everyone here is losing their minds if they think Cotto stands a chance against Williams or Martinez.

    P. Williams would be the worst possible matchup for Cotto. If he decides to keep fighting for a couple more years, he should focus on unifying the belt at 154 since Martinez is moving up...:think.

when has cotto ever faced anyone like pwill?? a freakishly tall fighter with a freakishly long reach and a freakish workrate?? do you really think cotto can put up with a 6'2 fighter with an 83" reach throwing 100 long range punches a round with authority?

you need a reality check, just because he beat foreman, a fighter he was suppose to beat mind you, he walks through williams? not exactly. and if you think arum thinks the same way, lets see if that match ever happens

What does Williams have that Marg didn't dish out??? Nothin and no where near the ferocity... Willy is good but slooppy ... Cotto can easily bob and weave outta distance...

Hold on now.... Because Willy went 1-1 with Quintana.... Whot Cotto destructed... He stands no chance..

Yet Cotto Lost to two heavy handed pressure fighters, its an automatic loss??? Will is a beast but not a KO artist...

I hope you're trolling like almost everyone does here.

Williams destroys him and knocks him out right there within 6 rounds at most. I love Cotto but if you know ANYTHING about this sport, other than Manny Pacquiao which I DOUBT, you would easily know by now that Cotto doesn't do good against active fighters. I also HOPE, yet still easily doubt, you know how active Williams is.

uummm, this is miguel cotto were talking about here, not mike tyson, joe frazier, or anyone else that can "easily bob and weave". you seem to be basing alot of your assessments off of the tried and true "who beat who" argument, which time and time again has proven to be false. fact of the matter is, cotto doesnt have the style to overcome pwill. why? its mostly because cotto doesnt really deal with pressure all that well. and who better then pwill at 154 to put non-stop, relentless pressure on you?? everything about pwill is all wrong for cotto. the size, his workrate, his CHIN, everything. i dont think there's a single department that cotto outshines pwill in (yes, including power).

Cmon now... Get outta here with that... Pwill is the man.... But You know like I do he's sloppy as hell, he loops punches and for a man who beats up bodies it's not a good thing...

Don't call out Manny cause he's my fav active fighter and he will be till he retires...

As much as I like Williams... He's not a pure boxer.... He's a fighter through and through...

Cotto is not stronger, maybe just as fast.... but he;s more skilled in every aspect.... If they brawl and exchange wits,,, Cotto's smarter..
