he went out of the gameplan a few times though, steward wanted him to stay calm and calculated

also he could have used the right alot more.

Cotto can't be outboxed by just anybody. But you et a guy in there who is not afraid to back him up, and who will put relentless pressure on himfor three minutes of all twelve Rounds, and you will see him do yet another Lance Armstrong impression.

Martinez would 1-punch KO his ass. Paul would beat him like a drum for 8 Rounds until a mercy stoppage. And Cintron, if he decides to stick around for the whole fight , would probably catch him by around the 10th. Word.

So far, Cotto has only lost to two cheaters. Perhaps he really is "back" when his opponents are not cheating with bricks or roids.

Granted. The thing is, there aren't that many fighters out there who fit the description you just gave, and stick to that gameplan effectively, without getting bothered by what Cotto would throw back.

Martinez is too ****ing fast. Don't think there are more than 2 guys out there right now who could just be competitive against him (from 147 to 160).

Williams would probably overwhelm him with punches, still I won't say he'd definitely beat him simply because Paul leaves himself WIDE open and gets hit more often than not. And he can be hurt.

And  @ the Cintron comment.

    Neither incident can be proven.

Pus, Cotto has done some cheating of his own. he was on his way to getting KO'd by SuperJudah until he started his nutpunching routine. I'm not trying to turn this into a Cotto hate thread, but damn. Keep that **** real...

Cotto is a good boxer, as been proven before this fight....I just think the killer instinct he had when he was younger is completely gone...

Old Miguel(pre-second half of the margo fight) would have stopped foreman right after foreman got hurt, I have very little doubt in my mind about that...

Steward will prolong his carear by turning miguel into stricly a boxer, and less of a puncher....Getting back to basics...
