Margarito. His ability to walk through Cotto's punches had WAY more to do with his victory than anything he may have had in his wraps.
People need to consider that, just as Cotto ain't the same as pre Margo, Margarito is also NOT the same as he was pre-Mosley. Margarito could very well be more ruined right now.
if cotto continues to make his jab one of his main tools and uses it to set up other punches and fights at a slower pace then the first fight the he out points margaro.
I still don't like Miguel's chances. Mexican plodders that love to get hit to give back and engage in slugfests are all wrong for Cotto. Same thing with Angulo. Same thing with kirkland who is a black plodder that loves to give back and exchange in slugfests and who it southpaw to boot.
Yes, the beatings in the hands of Margo and Pac took away Cotto's '0' and much of his confidence. But, Mosley took away Margo's perceived iron chin as well as his confidence. Plus, Cotto now has a really good trainer in his corner. I think Cotto would have a much better chance to win this now than he did in the first fight.
Protecting the 0 may have got to Miguels head but at this stage i am still not sold he can beat a volume puncher who can take his best punch
The fight that NEEDS to happen. Margarito will obviously fight the same exact fight as he always does while I think Cotto with Steward will make the necessary adjustments to effectively fight for 12 rounds. Cotto UD
I'll be disgusted if that sack of garbage gets a rematch. That piece of **** should be captured with all of his supporters and idols in once place and hanged right there.
But that is my main point. Did you see Margo's last fight? He danced around his opponent for much of the fight. I don't think he loves to get hit and engage in slugfests as much as he used to. Mosley made sure of that.
