True! IMO the fact that Roach didnt feel like putting Pacquiao in the same ring as Foreman made him a better fighter than he actually is. After yesterday though it is clear that Pacquiao would have destroyed him. Cotto will need to beat the top dogs at 154 if he wants to become the man. But what is your point? Are you trying to tell us that cotto is not the best at 154? Nobody says he is. He beat a belt holder at that weight and should get credit for this. Nobody says he conquered 154 division. The fight was not billed as some mega fight, just a comeback fight.

I mean is that not their job, what do you expect them to come on and say: "Greetings viewing audience, we would strongly suggest that you switch to the French Open on ESPN because we are broadcasting live from Yankee Stadium, but this fight is ****ing horrid and will make you a worse fight fan for watching...we will now grant you 10 seconds to make the necessary adjustments". In my short time here I've read some dumb ****, but this could be the dumbest. The network sells viewers a fight, promoters promote fights, boxers fight fights as for the same purpose to make money. No one is taking advantage of anyone, the fight was made, I watched it, I enjoyed, everyone got paid, successful event period.
Cotto is an established name in boxing with huge following of Puorto Rico and fans from other countries who like his fan pleasing style. Even if he fought some bum in his comeback fight, it would still be announced as a big event. It was clearly not billed as some mega event like his fight with Pacquiao.
