    True. Funny, but true.

I would rate this win as equal to beating a 38 year old former juice head a la Floyd vs. Mosely.

Everyone talked bout Foreman EASILY outboxing Cotto. Even Ring Magazine.

Now people want to slander Cott's victory. **** them. He looked GOOD in there last night, against a natually bigger fighter.

Cotto is small for 54 and an even shorter arm reach, He needed to test 54 first to see if he feels comfortable there and on the pluss side a belt to negotiate for better fights and have more time getting trained by manny steward.
Why is that a bad idea?

Cotto should fight him. Spinks is a decent fighter. Nothing more.

Ya ya ya we know. Thats all you're ever saying. No one is saying this is the best win of his career or that now he beats Floyd Mayweather, so dont get your panties in a bunch. You've had it out for Cotto since the first time you posted on here. It was a solid win. You didnt even acknowledge it or give the man any credit. Instead you discredit him. At least BigReg had the decency to give credit where its due. Yet you're the same guy who whines and cries that PBF or other black fighters dont get enough credit. I think everyone knows where your motivation lies.

Than just say that. He looked good, better than he has in awhile. Or you think he still needs a little improvement or a bigger test. But no, you choose to give the man a backhanded compliment.

Steward helped cotto w/ his foot work & balance. But did nothing for his defense, esp w/ the over hand right. But i don't think there's a new miguel cotto. & once he gets rocked, he'll go back to his normal way of fighting. I wish cotto luck, but i'm not too sure where he goes from here since he said he wants nothing but big names.

He was chasing the boxer all around the ring and his jab had plenty of snap on it. Soon as Yuri couldnt run around anymore Cotto went to work and finished him off quickly.

That hook/uppercut to the face which knocked out Yuri's mouthpiece and the left hook to the body looked like it had some snap to me.

Some people are never happy. Short of Cotto actually turning Foreman into a pile of mush in the first, but then it'd be that Foreman was a bum and Cotto proved nothing.

Just watch it for what it's worth. He's still Cotto. He'll never be a defensive technician, he'll never be ultra slick, he'll never throw combos like Holyfield. He's just who he is and Steward's helping him tighten up.

    Leave it at that.

You're just a ridiculous hater, Foreman was an undefeated champ, not the best in the division, but he was no easy opponent for Cotto to walk through.

Cotto was poise the entire fight and basically showed domination. I don't know how showing domination against a world champion boxer isn't "impressive", who are you? Floyd Mayweather Jr? You're just some fat guy sitting on the computer, so you should be mega impressed because you'll never be at the level these guys will be. If you are or were, then you actually can back up your **** talking and hating.
