This. Haye and his obtuse manager went for the quick riches without considering their long term plans. They have very successfully painted themselves into the proverbial corner. If Haye does not fight either a Klitschko or Adamek next, no one outside of the UK will take him seriously. He will become a regional fighter. But if they had taken their time and built up their image, Haye could have improved as a heavyweight and become a legitimate superstar in time. There's no doubt that he would have appeared on HBO at least a few times as an upcoming contender. But now he's pissed them off twice by pulling out of fights. It really is funny how opinions differ on this subject. UK fans think of Haye as a huge success because he beat an old worthless Valuev. Most other thing he blew his show at heavyweight glory by going for the fast cash too soon. Now he has to fight a serious contender next.

Yeah i probably would have voted the other way if that was the question...but it wasn't so....

Haye needs to go ahead and man up.

Last I heard Manny agreed to the drug test for a Nov match-up. The blame was debetably for the March match-up but if Pac has agreed to the orginial testing stipulations and to give Mayweather a majority cut in the purse I don't see how Pac is ducking.

    mayweather........and by a long way.

haye has done it with the klitchkos only, whereas floyd has
    done it his whole career.

mayweather is saying he wants to retire for 2 years(again)
so he can avoid the pac-man......whereas david could still
get in the ring with the brothers.

we'll just have to wait and see.

Id go with haye....he had opp's to fight both then backed out( grant it the terms were a little ridiculous) ...but then Wlad puts a video out calling him a ***** and he still wont fight him so in my opinion Haye is looking a lot worse.

yea but why else didnt he fight floyd when his own trainer said he wouldnt be ready by march 13th..

TWIST IT HOW U WANT BUT HIS OWN TRAINER SAID HE WOULDNT BE READY..

U WANT A SOURCE..?? THEY EVEN TRIED TO SHIFT IT ON FLOYD LIKE HE DIDNT WANT IT N THEY THREW YURI IN THE MIX...THAN FLOYD SAID HE DID AND ROACH IS ON RECORD SAYIN THEY WOULDNT BE READY BY MARCH 13TH AND THAT THEY BOTH SHOULD FIGHT OTHER FIGHTERS AND MEET IN SEPTEMBER......

TWIST IT HOW U WANT...BUT THOSE ARE THE FACTS..FACT IS, TEAM PAC DID CLAIM WHAT I WROTE ABOVE..IF U WANT QUOTES THAN GOOGLE EM..

HERE ILL POST THE 1ST ONE

"WE WONT BE READY FOR FLOYD BY MARCH 13TH. FIGHTING FLOYD IS A DIFFERENT BALLGAME ALL TOGEATHER..TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM FIGHTING A MIGUEL COTTO OR A RICKY HATTON; WE'LL HAVE TO SET TRAPS ETC...." AND IT GOES ON AND ON AND ON WITH EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE...

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.IF THAT IS NOT A DUCK I DONT KNOW WHAT IS

No that is a scheduling conflict the proof is in them saying we'll reschedule for Nov and give you everything else. Than Floyd says, "**** that I'm retiring."

Come on man, give me a break. Pac is not ducking Floyd, he wants the fight to happen. In poll after poll conducted here the overwhelming majority have sided with me on this too for who's fault Pac/Mayweather not happening is.

Haye. besides the klits there are als a lot other fights he could do but he runs scared from any competition talks **** and plans epic fights with some more washed up guys such as Harrison or Rahman. Similar to Khan. I dont like those guys

WRONG. Mayweather didn't make his name on promises to face those other fighters. That's what you're missing. Haye was a good British fighter who elevated himself to a possible superstar based almost entirely on his promises to destroy and decapitate both brother.

Unless I missed something, Mayweather never chased any of the afforementioned fighters around a shopping mall. He never wore T-shirts with decapitated opponents on them. He never signed a contract and pulled out of a fight with a highly suspicious injury. Really, there's no comparision.:patsch:patsch:patsch

It's a legit point, however I don't think a Haye/Wlad fight is nearly as historically significant as Pac/Floyd. 30 years from now nobody will probably give a **** why Haye and Wlad didn't fight, but they'll probably still be asking why Pac and Mayweather didn't. To me, that makes Floyd's duck worst because it impacts boxing much more as a whole.

Well, I guess we just disagree about the subject. I'm not certain that Mayweather actually ducked. He mae a request...Pac choose not to abide by it. There are two sides to every story. But there aren't two sides when it comes to Haye. It is clear he is ducking the Klitschkos for whatever reason.
