i think cotto should take on someone alittle easier than martinez/williams etc to see where he is truly at, collazo will bring the fight to him and is a solid B+ level fighter, in that fight we can truly judge where cotto is at.

Good luck, PR's usually don't EVER fight each other @ that/this level.
That said, why not..... But it won't happen.

I some good tunes up could be Sergio mora or maybe Cory spinks just nothing over the top and still get some credit for .. or Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. I think he could win all those..

After that maybe an angulo or a cintron. .

Although I'm a fan of both Collazo's and Cotto's, I don't really see the point from Cotto's perspective. As a fan, sure, I'd like to see it to guage where Cotto's at, but he's not getting any younger and he says he's only looking for the top guys. Collazo is a more than capable opponent, but surely not one of the 'top guys' Cotto was referring to.

well the top guys are sergio martinez and paul williams, it would be foolish rushing into them so early.

he needs a few training camps with manny steward.

How many more fights do you think Cotto will have, Including the Tune's you want?
(Didn't Cotto announce just a couple fights were left overall.)

Honestly, I don't think he is looking to fight warm-up's from this point on.
Hell his championship fight came directly after a brutal defeat....

One could argue that Foreman was the "1 Collazo level fighter". Cotto himself has stated many times that he doesn't plan on hanging around too much longer and that his desire is only to fight in big fights. Personally, I hope and think the his next primary target will be Margarito.

Cotto most likely done with 147 which is where Collazo is not leaving anytime soon i think

I was actually thinking about Collazo vs. Margarito at 147

Collazo pulled out of a fight with Aydin because he says he can't make 47 anymore
