Not really. Look, unless there's a contract on the table, the words mean nothing. They can say what they want, but if they were really offering those terms, Haye would be accepting them.

no excuses from me. that's an excellent offer, and one haye should be very happy to accept. if haye doesn't accept, then he's scared, and that's really the only plausible reason to refuse such an offer.

 

Haye is probably not ready for Wlad yet, he needs more experience as a heavyweight, 1-2 years. A couple of defenses of his WBA belt against quality opponents as Adamek and Toney won't harm at all.

If that's true, there's absolutely no excuse as to why Haye shouldn't take the fight. Regardless of all of Hayes antics concerning the Klits in the past (which basically made it impossible for him not to face the Klits without looking like an ass already), Haye is in his prime and ready, and he should look on unifying the titles as a chance, not as a risk. If Haye doesn't take the fight, he's a coward, period.

 

Exactly. He insulted them, called them out, don´t forget the t-shirts, promised to unify and save the divison (lol), called their opponents bums and so on.
If it wasn´t for all that, I wouldn´t have a problem with him needing time to get ready.

100% agree. It would be all OK if Haye entered HW division fighting few bums and in the moment he feels ready he would start his trashtalk towerds Klits. But it's just the other way about.
