Tua hated body punches, which was a specialty of Smokin Joe. This would be an exciting, fast paced fight. It's left hook versus left hook. Who takes it?
Tua does, because hes just as 1-handed except more powerful and his stamina when he was around 220lb was up with the best, he could hang with Frazier no problem on that front. And you know that frazier couldnt take Tua's best whereas Tua probably could. Frazier might win a decision though and the body punch is an interesting one but Tua actually had a damaged rib in camp before the Lewis fight and he was weak for the Byrd fight by losing weight too fast I think its more likely that Tua wobbles Frazier than Frazier badly hurts Tua to the body to be honest
I will go with Frazier for many of the same reasons that I picked Marciano. I will also add that Fraziers speed is going to be a big factor here because this time it isnt even close.
I predict this thread will show Frazier always gets shortchanged in H2H threads where he's pitted up against a big puncher with a good chin. Thanks, George!
Thanks to your signature, I had to look up what "tekkers" meant. I'm still not sure how you mean it, thanks to Urban Dictionary.
Honestly, I think the fact that Frazier got up six times from absolute bombs from Foreman that were literally lifting him up off his feet is anything but an indictment of his chin.
I didn't even know it was there, I can't even see it myself. 'Tekkers' equals technique. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gx5iZitbjOU&feature=related[/ame]
I can completely see that perspective but it seems like it's always the other way around in these threads. As I said, Frazier gets screwed in all threads where you've got a puncher with a good chin when I read them. And I say we write George Foreman a letter about this.
Essentially it has one meaning, but it does get thrown around as a way of rating your pulling technique aswell.
You never know with slang, it's always better to ask. Also, you never know with Woody Harrelson, so it's always better to ask.
I never followed Tua all that much, but his style, weight and power just MIGHT smoke-out Frazier.?.? MR.BILL
The term 'never hook with a hooker comes to mind', and makes me wonder 'who's left hook is better' - faster, shorter, heavier. WAR....I think Tua could KO/TKO Frazier although I give Frazier more chance than Marciano, as hes faster and stronger
