Nobodys complaining about Povetkin cuz Povetkin hasn't been running his mouth for the last couple of years about how Wladimir is scared, a bum, and wont fight him. Povetkin knows his ass is goin to get handled when they fight.

One notes however that the specifics of thousands of other fights are released without falling foul of the legal profession.

 

If there is nothing wrong with the deal than legally there is no binding reason why an offer can't be made public.

Open offers get made all the time.

Well I am going on the words of someone on here (who is a Haye apoligist might I add, who said so after he claimed Wlad didn't offer 50/50, so I asked why Haye didn't come out and say so seeing as it was the perfect excuse to duck, he said they were not legally allowed). I'm not saying his word is gospel, he is probably full of ****, so make what you will of it.

And what details do you need exactly? His team said 50/50 was offered, and no rematch clauses were included. They were the only factors the Haye apologists could use for the fight not happening and now their team has quashed those accusations.

 

I just can't see them offering a contract like that.

 

Haye has a history of lying and faking injury. Wlad called him out publically so it was clear he wanted to make the fight happen. He wouldn't have went to the bother of calling out Haye in such a public way if he was going to make an unreasonable offer. Haye backed out of two deals with them already, it was obvious he took the easy road when it became available. Take off the rose tinted glasses buddy.

They haven't offered a ****ing thing like 50-50, otherwise it would be in a formal offer that could be shared with the press.

How anyone can defend Haye is beyond me. The guy has no class and no balls.

Well, let's put it like this, if Wlads camp is lying, Booth will come out and call bull**** in the press. With Haye's reputation currently in tatters amongst boxing fans, Booth will definitely come out for PR purposes and defend his man's credibility. So let's wait and see, if we hear no counter from Booth. Well what possible excuse could you come up with next?

 

Haye and Booth know the score. Right now, he gets owned in a match with either of the big guys, and has nowhere to go when he loses. So talk, talk, talk, negotiate, and leave it. Then fight fraudley. Take the money, beat up the old charletan and start to talk about trhe Klitschkos again. Anyone who fails to see there is a little bit of a Haye con going on is not in the real world. Haye beats Enzo in arguably his best perf, beats huge but dismal non punching Valuev (in one of the most negative displays of heavyweight boxing ever seen), then beats up ancient, shopworn, predictable Ruiz- the same one who was outclassed by Jones - and we look at him as the most exciting and charismatic heavyweight since Ali. FFS ... it is utter bollocks. Harrison would come into the fight on the back of being comprehensively outboxed by Michael Sprott. Hardly the form of a worthy challenger. But I don't believe Haye and his team give a **** as long as the cheque goes into the account. As Bob Mee wrote in boxing news, it is time to realise that the robot brothers are the best we have got. And in the case of Mr Haye, the word now has to be, emphatically, put up or shut up.
