Vlad offered Haye 50-50 purse split, no options on future fights, etc.

Most Brits are still routing for him!!!

I wouldn't say his rep is in tatters at all.

Amongst the boxing world it is. Casuals and some Brit boxing fans. Everyone else thinks he is a fraud, and rightly so.

Rahman played hard to get back when he had a title to offer and was being hyped "back", the only reason he filled up for Povetkin is because he didn't have any better options. This is a business too, remember?

Make a poll in the general so asking "Is David Haye a *****?" and we'll see who is living in the real world :good.

Haye can do what he likes, he still a fraud though who has lied to fans. And the Klits are Ukranian not Russian. I am calm, I am having a nice cup of hot chocolate and eating a muffin. I am well relaxed :hi: You are the one getting excited!

i understand why haye did what he did, but if we're talking about the right time to take the fight financially, then that time is now. if haye has been offered 50-50, and no rematches, then that's perfect. haye hasn't looked spectacular in his last couple of bouts, and one loss now would totally ruin his financial capability against the klits. the time makes perfect sense, financially and for boxing fans aswell. i see no reason if haye has been offered 50-50 to not take the fight.

Of course there were complaints about Povetkin not being ready yet.............right here on this site in fact. Not as many as the complaints about Haye, but then again Haye insulted both Klitschkos, called them sisters, bums, etc. Then he goes on to fight Audley Harrison? Are you ****ing kidding me? :rofl

So why are Booth and Haye not letting the fans know that it's bull****, I mean if the Klitschko's are lying about the offer what is stopping team Haye from saying so? Neither have been known to keep their mouths shut in the past so what's the story now??

I too hope Audley lands a lucky punch. Truth be told Audley has a better jab and reasonable power too. Too bad Audley's chin is paper maché.............

Haye has confused annoying with exciting. Some breath of fresh air this guy turned out to be but I kind of figure he didn't have what it takes to get into the ring vs WK. He's gone from running his mouth to just running.

Come now. If Haye actually thinks he'll make more money fighting Adamek, Toney or Harrison than a Klitschko, then the man has lost his mind. They could sell out a 60,000 seat arena at several spots in Europe and get on HBO. A fight against Harrison or Toney would not show on HBO. Adamek, maybe. But none of those fight gets him respect or makes him a superstar. A fight with either Klitschko could.

He said boxin fans. And though you might believe it's the center, sorry centre of the world, Britain is tiny in the scheme of things. You've got what, 49 million people? Again, Haye began as a breath of fresh area and the hype that he stirred up was coming from outside of the UK. Foreign fans were intrigued by this brash young fighter who promised to destroy the Klitschko brothers. He has just about destroyed all that good failth. And if he fighter Harrison, he'll become nothing more than a UK fighter. This next fight is crucial. Does he take the path of least resistance and stay in the UK, or does he take a shot at becoming an international superstar?
