I treat skill, speed and power as 3 different characteristics of a boxer and there are more distinct characteristics. Skills can be acquired from training. Speed and power are more of an inborn characteristics tho training can also do some bits of improvement on these characteristics.

PAC was successful against better skilled opponents since they can't handle his superior speed, his awkwardness and relentlessness.

He fought all top fighters available to fight, that's what matters. And him fighting them proved that they're not better skilled than him.

Again, no update on this. Team Mayweather seem to be far too quiet lately, even during the previous negotiations they barely commented till the fight was officially called off.

Great enough to make him fighter of the decade and I'm sure you know who got that title before him, "decent" fighters don't get that title, never. Just special ones.

if for you, skill is everything combined including speed, reflexes, heart, workrate, stamina, etc..., then there is noone right now who has more skill than Pacquiao. Not even Mayweather.

Because in my opinion...Marquez was clearly the more skilled boxer in both bouts. Pacquiao has developed a great deal since then...but when they fought, they were not equal, or even close to being equal in terms of skill. Pacquiao still relied heavily on his straight left to get him out of trouble.

For me, they are seperate, but igotjuice is the one who said "for me though your skill is everything combined"

So maybe you should ask him. If skill is everything combined, then Pac is the most skilled fighter in boxing.

It's all good. We have different ways in defining things. Good that you understood my point.
