I don't like the idea of stopping a man from making money to support his family. However, boxing is a business. It's about entertaining the fans & making sure they get their money's worth. I would have been pissed if I paid my hard earned money to attend Cintron's last fight. I don't understand it. He wins every round & decides to jump out the ring, hoping he would get a cheap win. His team was informed right before the fight that they were fighting under California rules. I believe that is when the idea entered Cintron's head to look for a way out if an opportunity presents himself.

Yes. There's no excusing it after fighting elite-level opposition in Martinez and Williams and bitching out both times. I would avoid him if I was a 147/154 guy, and not because I am ducking him.

No...we should be freezing out the cheats in boxing like Margarito who doesn't deserve another big payday until he admits he knew what was being placed in his wraps.

From the front page of ESB, this thread title shows up as :

    "Should Kermit Cintron be black"

And I was thinking "what the **** are they going to be saying in that thread".

He beat Williams, and is an elite LMW, so hell no. That would be bad for boxing.

Over the past two years Kermit fought Margarito, Angulo, Martinez, and Williams. What kind of an imbecile would entertain the notion of blackballing a guy who will fight anyone, anytime, anyplace?

Dear Mr. Newbie, WTF kind of thread is this? Are u for real? Like or dislike Cintron for whatever reason, the bottom line is he fights top line fighters and holds his own. From my angle he cracked his dome on that monitor when he fell out of the ring. And IMO was winning the fight. I had Martinez winning the other fight, but Kermit was very game.

Kept bending over like a clown against Margarito until he finally quit.

Got knocked out against Martinez, recieved a draw, complained afterward.

Jumped out of the ring against Williams and laid motionless like he was shot.

:rofl Yeah...Cintron hurt himself so badly he wouldn't move for 5 minutes and not even motion to the referee to give him a little time to recover.

Are people here THAT gullible? FFS.
