Im pretty sure that all 28 of those guys werent making a debut, boxrec doesnt have complete records. There are plenty of padded records with crap fighters, but chavez had a really padded record for an elite fighter. Followed closely by Yuri boy Campos
Eric Crumble... That is simply TOO perfect a name for boxer with a 0-31 record. It sounds like the type of name that they would use in a cheesy movie with a boxing scene where the aptness of the boxer's name would be repeatedly exploited for comical effect.
Even the two guys he fought with winning records were on losing streaks. Definitely a VERY padded record!

I always liked him as a fighter and really it was his father the promoter who set up padded record, but Sean O'Grady's 63-1 record (only loss to the great Danny "Little Red" Lopez) around when he fought for his first title was padded with monthly fights in Oklahoma City against some soft opposition.
