If true, then I will definitely be purchasing tickets for this. Montreal has hosted fights where no local fighter was involved in before and it didn't do too bad.

Looks like Froch needs plane tickets again! Then lets hope the vulcano on Iceland doesn`t "**** up his win" this time too;)

16k = theatre of bell center (some seat are closed, I dont know how to explain it in english) ; 21 273 = hockey capacity, im sure boxing can approch that.

In fact, there were 1.5k people for Bradley/Holt 1 week before the fight..., than with Interbox help it reach 7.5k, which is a lot to see 2 unknows fighter..., of course it was Andrade who sell more that night. Froch and Andrade are well know here, it will sell out EASILY! If there 16k seat they will sell it, if they decide to open more they will sell it too :deal!

I doubt that but who knows? The biggest crowd ever for a boxing event, in Montreal, was of course, Duran - Leonard I at the Olympic stadium (about 40,000) other then that Gattimania sold 18,000... IMHO, 10,000 would be great.

Bute vs Miranda was on the same night as a hockey playoff game, Montreal vs Washington.

How about Bute v Zuniga, Joppy, Berio? All on the same day as hockey playoffs too?

i just dont understand why is he complaining so damn much about where he's fighting..froch out of all the fighters in the super six (barring allan green who hasn't fought a super six fight yet) has impressed me the least...he screams about highway robbery vs kessler when he benefited from the absolute worst one in this tournament against dirrell (i saw it slightly for dirrell or a draw)...he's a clubfighter who just happens to be able to punch a little, good stamina, and has a somewhat sturdy chin (didn't stop dirrell and kessler from visibly staggering him though)...i honestly hope that abraham knocks him the **** out so he's gone..he's starting to annoy the hell out of me

Hmmm.... maybe because it will actually draw a big crowd in Montreal, whereas it wouldnt draw **** in Vegas, or NY.

sooo wait, Ward really has no fight outside of oakland? something about that seems very wrong seeing as how everyone else has to travel at least once.
