until Roy gets hit on the chin and then it's lights out.* blah, blah blah, jones heavyweight, weight loss, cough, bull****, blah , blah , blah...
the difference in skill level between a 19-22 year old gold medalist straight out the amateurs and an ATG pro in his prime is insane. You have them at the same weight and one is an atg lightheavyweight pro near his peak and the other straight out of the olympics, the pro wins
I don't get it. Why does RJJ beat everyone and anyone north of 175 and higher when his best wins where very young Hopkins and Tarver? Being flashy crushing cans somehow translates beating ATGs now :/ Seriously.
I strongly doubt Roy would have stood much of a chance. Ali had everything; power speed; chin, and was practically made for HW, even though he won the olympics at LHW. I see RJJ winning vs a lot of HW's of the past though, maybe even vs Joe Louis. But versus guys like Ali or Lewis I strongly doubt it. I can't believe RJJ even wanted to fight Mike Tyson, which could possibly be his worst match up imaginable.
In a P4P sense...Ali wins almost every time. Theres a reason he is ranked in almost everyones top 5 ATG list.
