Let's be honest, you would have laughed aswell.

You have no right to boast about anything, you yourself said that DLH and Cotto were too big.

    --

The thing is, I bet alot of people were making judgements on the basis that De La Hoya wouldn't be dead at the weight and Cotto wouldn't be fighting at a catchweight either.

PacD's logic was stupid. He may have got things right, but when you are a fighter's dick that much, it's easy to say he'd beat this guy, beat that guy whenever they are brung up. Hell he probably wouldn't said that Pac could beat Calzaghe if somebody mentioned it.

His logic is ridiculous, yes he called Cotto-Pac, but on the basis that 'Cotto hasn't KO'd any legends'. What a fraud.

This is why I find it funny when people call us "*******s". I mean, how is it even an insult anymore? Someone can claim Pac becomes MW champ and they can laugh but history tells us, they have laughed just as hard before...now they try to downplay the victories like its nothing.

Put it this way, people now rate PBF's win over Mosley in the same league as Pac's win over Cotto, yet the notion of Pac beating Cotto in this thread is probably the same as what you would get if you made a thread and claimed PBF beats Andre Ward.

Pac defied the odds. Full stop. No changing history here.

Comments were made before he took a beating from Margarito, before he looked to have lost his edge in coming back, and before it was announced that he had to fight at a catchweight.

With a little help of course.

    we can't forget:

    1. His lucky draw against Sanchez.
    2. His biased ref against Hussein.
    3. His clear Loss against an old shot Morales coming off a loss.
    4. His gift draw against JMM.
    5. His contraversial win against JMM.
    6. His win against weight darined DLH.
    7. His stipulations against a damaged Cotto.

Again...his career is smoke and mirrors..he's a good fighter like Bonds is a good hitter, but there is more into Pacv's career than any other fighter.

You can dissect any fighter's resume, but Pac's has been crafted to deceive.

By the way, those 7 points are in the 2000's... and he got Fighter of the Decade anyway! :yep

Yea but no matter what, some people have another excuse... but thats life people try to discredit things they can't explain, and it's hard to except others as being superior to yourself.

Oh, and after the Clottey fight took place, I said Pac by KO. Because it was clear as day Cotto was handpicked because Margarito damaged him, and it was evident in the Clottey fight.

I wasn't here when the Ultimate Pacturd PacDBest was around. It looks as if he knew Pac was gonna start roiding.

I always said Pacman would beat the crap out of Oscar and Hatton so that is no shock to me.

Cotto was indeed a big claim at the time since he hadn't had the bricks used on him yet. I thought Cotto might be a little too much, but to me that was Pacquiao's best win even if Cotto lost a little something. It was very very impressive. Too bad he might be cheating now.

    Shut your corny ass up...
    1. He was lucky Sanchez didn't injure him with that illegal **** he was pulling.
    2. Hussein was stopped after hurting Pac.. Pac by KO.
3.First fight ever at 130lbs after only having a couple 126lb fights.
4.Pac won at least 5 rounds against JMM the first fight... The draw was a gift for JMM which can be attributed to a judge making an admitted scoring error.
    5. Two close fights Pac wins because of the KD other than that it could've been a draw.. No shame JMM was great featherweight.
    6. Hoyas a professional. He was at weight a week out before the fight.. he took the wrong approach to the fight. He wasn't drained he was trying to gain speed by cutting size.
    7. Cotto came in 1 lb less than his last fight out..

What was evident was that Cotto was fighting with one eye that night.. Much the same way Pac was suffering in the first Morales fight with one eye.

Doesn't even make sense, there was only one other welter that was as dangerous as Cotto at the time, Mosley. So even at worst case you called Cotto the 2nd best welter at the time..

    1. Pac is LUCKY there was an accidental headbutt that resulted in a cut, because Agapito was tagging that ass, and you can't deny it.

    2. Pac had a hometown REF that was clearly incompetent....Pac was down for the count.

    3. Pac was also the BIGGER man on fight night, and still lost to the aging, Morales who had just lost to Barrera.

    4. If you think Pac won 5 rounds against JMM u must be smoking some crazy crack, Pac crack.

    5. Even Pacdbest had the fight a DRAW, many Philipino media outlets had JMM winning...these are biased who they themselves couldn't admit their MAN won...JMM clearly won. It was competitive, but Pac won aganist the man Mayweather later completely dominated.

    6. Hoya was old, looked like **** against Forbes, Roach knew it, he trained Hoya, and knew coming down to 147 would kill him. Roach had inside scoop we didn't. Oscar needed IV to come back to life before walking into the ring. On paper nice win for Pac, reality, not much credit for that win.

    7. Cotto was damaged by Margarito and was starting to have major weight issues, and tarining issues. He didn't look as explosive and sharp against Clottey like he did before Margarito..

Smoke and mirrors man, smoke and mirrors...Oh well.

    1. Sanchez was doing his best to make this a street fight. Pac was making some ground even through all the **** Sanchez pulled and it looked like he was gaining control. Sanchez was lucky he wasn't dq'ed from the beginning.

2.Yea Yea and Marquez should have been stooped after the third KD in the first fight... I hope you buy what your sellin.

3.Higher weight, but not accustomed to that weight.. Morales looked great that night and showed what makes a champion...

4.If you think Pac didn't win 5 rounds watch the fight again without smoking Meth and wearing a sombrero..

5.The fight could have gone either way... So many, many people thought Pacquiao would steamroll JMM in their second fight... When it became clear they were evenly matched JMM got alot of extra credit for taking Pac to the limit.. Pac wins by a point with the KD. And Yea, a Marquez at 130 lbs is hardly the same fighter at 146 lbs, or are you blind?

6.Hoya looked like **** against Floyd... Floyd just has no killer instinct and never pressed the action. Why do you leave out the fact that Floyd and Oscar were set to rematch at 147? So Oscar was moving down before the Pac fight was ever dreamed of.The last time Oscar stood a chance against Pac was probably when he was hungry and whooping Chavez ass.

    7. Marg whooped Cottos ass, Cotto whooped Mosleys ass, Mosley whooped Margs ass, Quintana beat Williams ass, Williams beat Margs ass, Cotto beat Quintanas ass... So what they're fighters.. Cotto was either the first or second best welterweight any way you slice it.. Once again he was fighting with one eye for almost the entire Clottey fight.

The smoke and mirrors is you at the funhouse hitting that crystal...
