He is pissing in our faces and laughing all the way to the bank. He promised us amazing fights that "the fans want to see" and he gives us garbage fights just to secure his retirement money. Good for him, bad for us.

"As a boxing fan, I hate the fight, because Audley has not boxed anyone in the top 20, but I know that maybe David didn’t deserve a shot at Valuev,” Booth said. “Within Britain it will be a fight that people would love to see, but [Haye] will receive a lot of criticism worldwide. He will be called a coward for not facing the Klitschkos and his credibility will be shot to pieces."

This hardly sounds like a man who is considering the fight does it?

Harrison could land a big punch on Haye, if he does, Haye will get knocked out.

Any random bum including Harrison could land big on Haye's chin and knock him out. That's always possible.

Doesn't make the opponent the best option out there though. Haye has half a dozen better, more dangerous and more appealing options for fans of boxing right now, but it seems he wants to go for the lowest risk one. A true paper champion.

to be fair, people do want to see Haye fight Harrison. I do.

Haye will be forgiven if he fights a Klit after taking out Harrison.

People were saying the same thing for Valuev and Ruiz.

    - "If he boxes a Klit right after he wins against Valuev then it will all be good"
    - "Look he will fight a Klit right after taking care of his mandatory in Ruiz, then fans will forgive him"

What on earth makes people believe he will fight a Klit after Harrison now? Are you guys that naive and gullible?

well last chance then. If he fights Audley then he better fight a Klit or just quit boxing and live in Alaska.

The trouble with lining up a fight with Harrison is Audley is injured and months away from being fit. David Haye sucks cox if he doesn't fight a Klit by the end of the year.

But after Harrison, won't Chagaev be mandatory? That's that good old fashioned WBA circle jerk at work.

Well smarty pants, Ruiz was Haye's mandatory, whilst SNV was the WBA Champion. As for Audley, well it may have taken him 10 years, but his time has come and his left hook is going to shake the boxing world upside down :D

The fact that Harrison is even being mentioned is an appalling indictment. If the fight goes ahead I will lose all respect for Haye.

I shelled out for flights to Germany and a ticket to Haye Klitschko. And though I have no doubt the injury was fake I didn't hold it against him because logically taking that fight for free made no sense.

Now though with the Klitschkos apparently offering a 50-50 split and no options why is Haye so quiet? If this fight doesn't come off this year you can be sure that it's entirely down to Haye. There's no shame in going out and giving it your best and potentially getting a hiding against a Klitschko, what is shameful is putting the word Harrrison in the same line as title fight.....
