Froch did prove him self as a much better boxer than i expected. I could see him controlling the fight at distance like Dirrell, but just with heavier jabs and strait rights who will tire Abraham up.... And the size differents.... Froch is a BIG STRONG man ...............

If Ward beats Dirrell he is out no matter what happens, unless Green shocks everyone and beats Ward and Kessler.

We have all cried for a plan B. Now Kessler has it - and it is WAR - . Before his Froch performance, could anyone see Kessler beat a faster and slicker Dirrell ?. I am not sure how Kessler will perform further on in this tournament, but he wont be easily beaten anymore......................

It was a decent fight but Froch won. I actually thought for a second Froch was going to stop him in that last round.

I don't think he could've stopped Kessler at any one particular time, personally. I can't even recall ever seeing Kessler down. The guy can take a hell of a punch.

I used to HATE Froch, but for some reason I don't any more, though I still sometimes, from force of habit, make references to his not too strict father and all that business.

Same as i thought. When was Kessler ever in trouble. I remember 2 really hard rights but Kessler wasn't even phased. The only time i thought either guy was hurt was when Kessler landed a counter right hand right on Froch's nose, which started the bleeding. You could see Froch's leg wobble

One of Kessler's main stratagy was to back Froch up and he did it damn near the whole fight. Not an easy thing to do vs Froch either. The body punching was brilliant too. I thought he implimented his gameplan rather well.

Agreed. The fight looked a bit like rd 12 of Kessler-Calzaghe only all the way through (except rd 12 which looked more like rd 15 of Braddock-Baer).

Kessler has always had problems when a guy took his jab away - Ward it was speed, Froch it was range. Also, Froch fought with his side put against his opponent, which is annoyingly tricky to deal with when you're out-ranged.

Well why wouldn't you? Froch's strict upbringing is probably the reason that he is the phenomenal fighter that he is.

These where the keys to victory. People slating Froch for not stepping it up a gear are disregarding these simple observations.

When was that? I must have missed it
Yeah he hitted him with clean hard shots and stunned him, but he was never seriously hurt.
