If David Haye fights Audley Harrison I will lose all respect for him.

    Fair play.

The ring is practicly meaningless now days just like any other magazine especially about boxing. Being in marketing you should no the internet is the most important form of social media and that the general concensous among US boxing fans is that Haye is a joke. ESPN is the biggest sports network in the US and Rafael is probably the most read boxing writer in the US, he thinks Haye is a joke. If its not him then read what Doug Fischer, Rick Scharmberg, Steve Kim, Mark Abrams have to say go on to any other US boxing website..........Haye is a joke. Listen to a boxing podcat from the US, Haye is a joke.

you cans ay what you want about the general forum but there just a hardcore community echoing the views of most fans around the world. and there plenty of them ESB gets a massive amount of traffic.

If you can find me a posative article about David Haye from the US in the last month I will be shocked.

I just can't see why when Booth has openly stated that they are in negotiations all this week people won't wait till at least the middle of next week for a response.

Everyone is just jumping the gun!!!

Nothing to do with the Klits. Frankly I'm fed up of hearing about David Haye and the Klits, the merry go round is a farce at this point.

It has everything to do with Audley Harrison being a disgraceful, cash out choice of opponent. There is no way to justify that fight on any boxing level. He beat Michael Sprott...so what. Taras Bidenko, Alexander Ustinov and a shot to **** Lamon Brewster have all achieved that incredible feat in the last 2 years.

This is a very good fight for Haye irrespective of what people think. It could be the modern day equivalent of Bruno LL. British boxing could do with a "mainstream" boost to get fans talking and this would certainly be the bout to do that. Additionally Haye gets to make some money off the title. I dont see any problems with it at all.

Harrison is ****. He cant even beat Martin Rogan. His fighting ethic is awful.

Haye's WBA title is becoming meaningless. Haye's status in the heavyweight division is falling rapidly. His credibility is already under severe fire, he's frankly becoming an embarrassment.

In 1993, Lennox Lewis had obliterated Razor Ruddock and was being ducked by Riddick Bowe when he faced Bruno, who had earned his shot and was at least known as a solid enough performer who would put in a decent effort.

Compare Bruno to Harrison. Bruno was a national treasure with tons of courage. Harrison is a joke, to put it politely.
Compare Lewis to Haye. Lewis fought and beat the best and was ducked by the undisputed champion. Haye fights old has-beens, talks crap, and bails out of fights with the best, even after shamelessly hounding them.

If this is the modern equivalent to Lewis-Bruno, it's time to treat boxing, esp. British boxing, with the contempt it deserves. What a sad state we've sunk to.
And if the mainstream British public buy this fight I cant see it helping boxing at all. It's terrible third-rate crap.
Hopefully Joe Public will choose to watch X-Factor or something instead that night, but the tabloids will probably build up Haye and Harrison and their loud mouths.
I wont even get any pleasure in seeing Harrison get KO'd, knowing how much him and Haye will be fleecing fans for.

More like Bruno-Bugner than Bruno-Lewis. It'll still do good business though, like Bugner did!!

Frank Warren said in Boxing monthly last week that readers of "trade magazines" account for about 10% of TV boxing viewrs. THE OTHER 90% WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS FIGHT, ITS A SHORT CAREER, i THINK HE SHOULD FIGHT HIM AND MAKE SOME CASH. He can fight the Klits later- wats the rush? take another fight to grow into the heavyweight division.

the only way i would wanna see this fight if there was a WWE style contract clause; Title vs Retirement. If Audley were to lose he would not be aloud to box again

How about a 'falls count anywhere' match?

Audley could blindside Haye while he's on his way to the ring. :good

Audley Harrison pretty much did that in his last fight.

Man stuck to his word, just when you thought he was done in that fight..

    Wrong..

    The Eqaulizer..!
