The Audley Harrison Appreciation Thread!

To be fair to Harrison he has all the ability, perfect frame, great jab , great left hook................ But he goes in his shell when he starts to fight i have been yelling at him to start throwing combinations and bombs which he is capable of doing, something missing unfortunately if he had a big heart and loved a tear up as well as boxing clever Audley would be number one. I would love to see Audley go out and say **** IT im going out from round one blazing like his life depended on it.. Then he would get respect but if he keeps feezing up in fights he has no chance. Thats the problem..

 

How can anybody root for Harrison? He is terrible. Sprott was creaming him, until, that hail mary punch.

 

To be fair he wasnt throwing his right caz his shoulder was ****ed, he didnt throw it once in the latter stages. I think he would of done Sprott earlier if his right didnt go.:good

 

It was a torn pectoralis.

Apparently he injured it prior to the bout.

He was sparring with Jack Johnson in a time machine...

We all know Harrison/ Valuev is THE fight of all time. Why is this not being made?

 

On a serious note do you rate him?

 

Truth? I don't know I've ever seen him fight. I watch a lot of fights courtesy of the internet, but I don't think I've been compelled to watch any of his. I hate you tube clips with a passion so I don't get much from there.

As you probably know, Don King is Valuev's promoter along with Sauerland. King has been doing a terrible job of getting any fights for the GOAT. It's hard enough to find competition. Whenever it arrives, King screws up the deal by making outlandish demands.

Incompetence on King's part? No. It's all part of a vast conspiracy to keep the belts away from Niko. I'd tell you more, but I think I'm in danger of having my cover blown. When he fights he has bursts of good combinations then all of a sudden its like his body goes into shock and he goes on the back foot. you dont know what your getting with him bit like Danny Williams.

Hmm... could be stamina. If he was a gold medalist I'd have to assume good hand speed meaning stamina comes into question.

 

He looks in good shape but that doesnt mean he has stamina, just frustrating to watch. He definately has it in the locker for a big upset, not a good fight for Haye. Might be quite entertaining.
