Before you start pissing on Hatton, read his comment carefully. It's neither demeaning nor is he making an accusation. People who get bent out of shape about it are just bitter that yet another boxer supports OSDT and that makes Pac look bad. I swear, each and every time something like this comes up, Pac fans use the "Innocent until proven guilty" card, which is far beyond expired now. You can only use it so many times until it sounds like you're an overprotective parent who is afraid your kid will fail a test which in turn will make you lose face.

Hatton did get starched by a much better fighter in Pacquiao. That doesn't mean his freedom of speech gets taken away. If Pac wants to erase all doubts then do something about it. Agreeing to take the tests with no cutoff date would be a fine start. Just a suggestion. Don't cry about it when someone feels suspicion. Nothing wrong about it. It just means I neither assume you're innocent nor do I assume you're guilty.

 

I dont think Pacquiao is on steriods. I believe he is celibate for weeks before a fight which give great physical strength, health, energy and willpower.

That is the only reason they agreed to go up in weight for the fight. Hatton? Tough guy but never that skilled and certainly not fast. Cotto? Made him come down after a severe beating. Pac maybe finally has grown legitimately into the weight. He can still make 140 from what I've read though.

 

no. anyone who thinks this through before making accusations realises that by accepting to take random blood and urine tests during training and after the fight, with a cut-off date for blood withdrawal 14 days before the fight, it pretty much ensures that he will not be benefiting from any types of PEDs. Its already a hundredfold improvement on any testing Hatton will have ever taken in his pro career and more than Pacquiao really should have been expected to accept after being disrespectfully accused by his potential opponent.


There is no way for Pac to go back in the past and prove that he was clean in his previous fights. So bottom line, its nothing but sour grapes from a fighter who was completely embarrassed by Pac. Made to look like less than a tomato can.

To say "the innocent until proven guilty card is getting old" is just ****ing ******ed. Innocent until proven guilty is not getting old, what's getting old is people jealous of Pacquiao's superior ability as a boxer accusing him of cheating because they are not on his level.
