The guy might have a hot girlfriend, but he is showing his lack of character publicly. So he only wants to fight in his hometown now? Why? So he is sure that he will get a biased decision in HIS favor? I thought if you are really good you can win anywhere. Didn't he get a decision in his favor in the Dirrell fight? Many thought that was a gift - so I guess he wants all the help he can get. Let them fight in New York...

I completely agree...I understand him not wanting to fight in Berlin, Poland, Monaco, etc but to come out and say he only wants to fight in Nottingham is ridiculous. Just have the fight in Montreal, neutral venue and a great boxing crowd in the city

Frochy is a spoiled child that needs a spanking. And he'll get one on Sept 18th.

Dirrell said the same thing after losing to Froch - "This is why Mayweather and Roy Jones didn't fight abroad"

Which is fair in Dirrell's case cause he was unlucky and fought a dreadful fight. But not fair in Froch's cause he deserved to lose wherever he fought.

Why do you understand him not wanting to fight in Poland? As far as I know, his family comes from there and aside from the borderline decission in Cunningham-Wlodarczyk one I don't recall any robberies in that country. Also, after Germany and Britain, Poland is the most active boxing destination in Europe.

I don't hear Ward telling the press that he only will fight at home. His promoter got him his fights in Oakland...but he will have to fight away from there during the SS in later stages..

Froch is showing some serious mental weaknesses now. An attribute which his fans were once so proud of, has been shattered since that Kessler defeat.

If he makes it to the later stages. And will he have to? He got those fights at home so why not the rest.

And besides. Froch has said that he will fight in America (and has previously).
