This is exactly correct. It's not the same Kessler anymore.

When people say Oakland they dont mean that kessler should have won rounds, they mean how Ward was allowed to get away with lots of Headbuts ect, bit like how Froch got away with murder in Nottingham.

No doubt Ward was the better man and was ahead that night but the fight should have been closer on the cards.
But that was not the problem like i already said.

The problem was that Ward get away with hitting and holding and headbutting the whole fight. The referre should at least have warned Ward or taken a point away but he did nothing. All the Kessler cuts were results of headbutts.

im bored of froch and his constant excuses, moaning and wanting everything on his terms. im british and would like to see our fighters winning in style not crying over not winning in front of an away crowd. he fought taylor and very nearly lost his belt, then fought dirrell and relied on a home crowd to secure his win. Then fought Kessler and lost fair and square nothing to do with where the fight was held. if he isn't good enough for convincing wins he shouldn't be in the super 6 the ****ing girl....

Have you seen the new set of rules only allowed for British fighters in their hometown lately?, if not you're missing on some interesting WWE/Boxing matches all in one. Hatton vs Tszyu, Froch vs Dirrell and many many other circus fights. Ruiz vs Haye makes it there too, punch to the back of the head knockdown, sweet and timed professionally.

And it was a stupid thing for him to say because he deserved to lose following that disgraceful non effort against Froch. He should've been disqualified. Also Froch has stated he'd fight in Canada.

The headbutting wasn't blatant or intentional. It also had nothing to do with the fight until Ward already had the fight won on points. I watched that fight again last week and Ward doesn't look like a dirty fighter whatoever. If he is throwing those butts on purpose and they are that hard to notice, then the man is a ****ing genius and could get away with it anywhere! But I don't think Ward is a stealthy headbutting ninja. I think **** happens. This isn't the blatant "bhop shot to the hip where the ref can't see" we are talking about. This was one fight and it appeared accidental. No trend, no intent.

Abraham wants to fight in Germany but at least he wins most of his fights inside ( even the one he lost). Froch wants to fight in his hometown so that in case the fight is close, the judges will suffer the pressure of the public to give close rounds to the hometown fighter. Both Abraham and Froch have risked big fights and undefeated winning streaks outside their comfortable fight towns and countries. I do think this fight should be fought on neutral ground and with non-english-german judges but in case it is not possible... Keep fingers crossed so that the fight will not finish with a 12 round decision and it will not.

At least one of them was clearly intentional from what I remember.

Regardless Kessler didn't turn up and Ward outclassed him!!!

thanks for the reminder, right ward's headbutting was out of hand. it sure is annoying when a sportscast is biased on one side. Cotto's fights are always like that. jim lampely is really annoying with cotto.

agree also, ward dirrell should be on neutral ground. though, were the rules of the super six not clear on winners having their fights in their hometown? kind of makes sense, you win, you get, advantage. but for 2 with a loss, neutral. anyway the rules should have been set sooner.

Oh its the poster boy for anti brit paranoia!
And of course corruption never happens anywhere else!
What about Lacy-Reid, Lewis-Holyfield, Hopkins being allowed a siesta whenever he felt like it against Calzaghe, Mayweather getting away with all kinds of **** against Hatton, Ward headbutting and holding at will against Kessler. Also the shocking shenanigans at the Sylvester/Karmazin fight recently in Germany. I could go on but I'm sure you get my point.

Froch has expressed willingness to fight in Canada which should be acceptable if its financially viable.

This just shows how pathetic ppl are, he agrees to fight in a neutral venue which is far better than ward, yet cus somone makes a post saying froch a botch for trying to get fight at home, all of a sudden its the gospel truth and lots of bandwagon monkeys all jump aboard and ride the we havent got a clue but will post anyway train.
