Some boxer have stated they are all for it, but, it is funny, how most of them don't say shite about it.

The problem with USADA is they're not willing to revise their testing procedure just for boxers. They have this Olympic style drug testing procedure.

Other 3rd party companies can devise a drug/blood testing procedure more suited for boxing.

The "US" in USADA might also be a problem if they will implement their authority in other countries like for example in Russia or China.

WADA could handle non-US bouts, but yeah, i see your point about the revision...although, if you get anything too revised, it may just be as ineffective as the current setup...time will tell

Yeah time will tell. Right now it seems NSAC is OK with stringent urine testing.

    SOURCE

NSAC: Urine test only for Manny-Floyd fight

"Drug-testing procedures for a potential super fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., if held in Las Vegas, will be limited to urine testing, as far as the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) is concerned. The NSAC upheld on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila) its drug-testing procedure on boxers as topnotch doctors Robert Voy and David Watson told the commission that urine samples are sufficient in catching drug-cheats."

That is what his post said.

Even in socially backward countries the worst of the worst drugs, such as alcohol, are perfectly legal.

Only a Saudi Arabian could want so many drug restrictions.

That's what I'm afraid of regarding this latest development.

But why Floyd won't believe the doctors/drug experts that stringent urine testing is sufficient to catch drug cheats?? :huh

Come'on Floyd, Pacquiao can give urine samples every hour up to the final hour before the fight. :D

because orgs like WADA/USADA wouldn't exist if that were fact

this is most likely a way for NSAC to look like they are doing something about their outdated system without actually doing anything about it

but, at the end of the day, it will cost them this fight

The commissions been there for a long time protecting boxers' interests. Boxers fight under the rules of the commissions. What's good for the commissions is good for the boxers.

Not good enough for floyd and his fanatics.

They better do blood testing or his cheerleaders will cry foul.

Didn't they already establish back in december that urine was good enough?

Victor conte's criminal ass became the moral authority on drug testing?

    Give me a ****ing break.
