So this is a warm up fight eh Ash?

This con artist has had more warmups than my late granny's irish stew!

Put my feet up last night and watched a great night of fights, excellent matchups and contested by blokes having a fair dinkum dig. Sadly these are just the sort of fighters that are offered a handfull of tickets to line up on the undercards of this imposter.

I've followed this sport for more years than I care to remember and I can't recall a bigger smoke and mirrors act pulled anywhere. The almost non existent number of remaining believers really have no right to call themselves boxing fans!

They are Circus Fans. Nothing more, nothing less!

    This man speaks the truf!

If you pay to watch this rubbish, you deserve to be locked up and certified.

$50 for that. "No probs Khoder, here...take my kidney as well".

Looking at BoxRec only minutes ago Golovkin is still looking for an opponent - but hey, home title fight opportunities grow on trees don't they?

Ok Patrick...lets see if you agree with any of this without letting any hate in

Almost every guy here says Mundine wont make 154....right?

If you had a fighter who was going down in weight much lower than expected would you put him in an easy fight first up or against a puncher?

As you know when you drop weight you lose stamina and stregth so its best to make sure you can make weight and be strong and if you gas out round 8 you can last against the average fighter.

All other Mundine cab driver fights aside would you put Mundine in against a dangerous fighter at his first shot at 154 without a title on the line?

Ash my man you need to get a big frizzy grey wig & become mandy's promoter. You always seem to look on the positive side for mandy's **** poor choice of opponents. Ash-king promotions.........I can see it now mate ha ha.
Seriously though..........what the **** is this fight going to prove about mandy other than I think he's scared to get KTFO again, thats why he simply talks the talks but walks the wayside...........everytime.

    haha...love it

Mate its the WBA "3 step world title" plan

    Fight at 154 get ranked
Fight an eliminator for the interim title
    Fight the interim title holder

There you go....Choc is number 1 by March :yep

let it go Ash.Mundine and Green are not real boxers anymore.they're just cherrypicking easy opponents.dont be the last to know mate.

Certainly looks good on paper Ash.

Amazes me how beating the #100 ranked fighter was going to put Mundine in the Top 10. Same it would seem now for beating the #88 ranked Jerez.

Jerez, though repeatedly beatable, hasn't been stopped for 7 years, and with Mundine's lack of pop it's very likely to go the distance. So from the point of view of finding a 154 punching bag that will last 12 rounds, he's a ideal choice.

...pity about the value-for-money it offers the punters though.

The 3 step plan really amounts to one serious fight at 154 (obviously not this one) and then a world title fight.

    ...and that's the upside mate.

Where does it leave a 35 year old if he goes to 154 and can't hack it?

...Green II and retire to a green pasture?

You said he can make 154. Now you are saying he will lose stamina and strength.

So which one is it? You have all the bases covered Ash.

You know the game mate....he will make weight but nobody will know how much he has in the tank until he goes 12 rounds.

I guess you would put him in with a dangerous fighter first shot without a title on the line? :-(

Dont answer that...if he was your fighter no way you would go a hard fight first up :deal

Ash, if Mundine has to be extended the full 12 rounds against his latest disgrace, then he deserves a loss. Stop making a ****ing dickhead of yourself.

You can not possibly be following this **** with any legitimate interest.

I bet this is one fight that Jeff Malcolm loses any memory of very quickly.

    You are blind mate.

Your loyalty is admirable... just wasted.
